dry rotted tires, rear defrost , drivers door glass severly scratched.dealer offered warranty includes any malfunction, or safety warranty ends in 2 weeks or 1,000 milesDesired Settlementthey offered me [redacted] for the problems to be resolved. all I want is the problems fixed. I did put new tires on for my safety after the dealership said the tires were fine on a repair order request.Business Response The customer purchased a USED 2010 Ford Escape with XXXXX miles on it, from us on Dec. 12, 2013. The vehicle was put through our extensive safety check before it was purchased. The technician found the vehicle to pass all of the safety checks. The tires were in passable condition. The scratches are to be expected when purchasing a USED vehicle. As far as the rear defrost, we were given information that it was damaged after purchase. We offered to give the customer [redacted] to cover his deductible for the damage that was done to the rear defrost (which would have to go through HIS glass insurance company). The items that the customer are complaining about are wear & tear items for used vehicles.
