We have been doing regular maintenance with Matco Services for several years. Recently they recommended us having our blower fans cleaned and instilling quick blast on our condensation lines. We agreed to the have these services performed and spent over $1,000 dollars on the maintenance with them. During the process they blasted the lines flooded our upstairs bathroom. Three days later we had no idea that their blast flooded our upstairs guest bathroom until the water came thru the ceiling. When we spoke to the supervisor Frank he said we are not plumbers so we didn't know your line was clogged. My question was if you are blasting the lines wouldn't you look to see that it's not overflowing the sink. He said no that is not our problem. I told him it's like shooting a gun and not worrying where the bullet or damage could happen. They refused to repair our ceiling and have lost a long tern customer. They have lost their moral compass and I would not recommend them to anyone. Their up sell cost us water damage and them a customer.
Matco installed 8 new hvac systems that have never worked properly
May 2015. Matco installed 8 new minisplit hvac systems in a house I renovated. They have leaked freon since installation. Matco sends techs who regularly (every 3ish months) recharge the freon 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. Freon is not supposed to leak. Also, a faulty installation has made nearly all of the units leak water down my walls (ruining sheetrock, paint & new hardwood flooring or carpet). Techs have come to the property on average every 2 months since installation with no permanent fix...last week I received a brief email informing me that Matco will no longer service my systems (currently 1 is not working at all and 3 are leaking) I use this property as an Airbnb rental and it is unacceptable to have non working and/or leaking units. I need a competent company to come and replace these units as I am sure that the techs at Matco have rigged the systems so they cannot even be repaired.

This is the email our Service Manager sent Ms. on Seotember 21, 2017.
"Ms.,
We would like to inform you that we no longer feel we can satisfy all the issues with your air conditioning systems. In August (3,4,9th) we inspected your home's mini split units and made several recommendations, which have not been implemented. The services we did provide you, have been priority service calls since we had to change /postpone/delay other customers to service your home. This notification serves as our notice for discontinuing services. You should contact LG customer service to find another contractor.

As we have discussed with Ms. since this is a daily or weekly rental property with irregular occupants, it appears that the systems are routinely turned off, sometimes days and weeks on end. This causes excessive humidity in the house and resulting in condensation overflows. Every time our trained technicians have been on the property, the drains have been cleared. The customer has been advised of this process and what to do to prevent this from happening.
Also, the recommended manufacturer maintenance has not been done per the owners manuals. Going over the invoices since the installs, we went out many times to rectify the issue and each time leaving the home, the systems were working. Most of the issues for us to come back out for service could have been taken care of if the systems had been taken care of and maintenance was preformed as suggested.
We feel like we have extended our best customer service to her over and over in the past 2 years and when the recommendations from the HVAC experts making suggestions of what needs to be done and they are not, we can not keep a relationship with a customer that does not truly want to fix the problem. With that said, we kindly asked her to find a different provider.
Based on our actions and continuously trying to work with Ms., we ask that this complaint be taken off and dismissed off our Revdex.com record.
