I placed an order for 3 magazines with Gregg P, on 6/10/2016 Very personable young man, really pulled my heartstrings. I NEVER pay this much for anything, so it was very much a charitable donation. However, as of Feb 4, 2017 I have not received a single issue. Receipt number 107330. I called twice, got voice mail, left a message with all this information, also sent an email requesting a refund. No response yet, here's hoping. We really couldn't afford to spend this much, and I don't want to give it to a company that doesn't honor its contracts.

I placed an order with a nice, polite and friendly young man this past summer. Like the others, I enjoyed our conversation and felt that buying something would show support and encouragement for those who are willing to work for compensation. It has now been just over four months (purchase was 6-28-16) and still no sign of the magazine I ordered. I just placed a call to the number listed on an earlier review (219-878-1085) at 1:05 in the afternoon (business hours are stated as 12-8 p.m.) and got a recording wherein I left all my contact information along with the receipt number and the purchase date. I will show a neutral review for now and see if they return my call or not, as well as if I get my magazine or a refund of the $55 spent. I will then update my review based on the outcome.

I requested a refund 5/26/2015 and was told the manager have to approve refund. I sent in all the necessary proof for a refund. The secretary informed me, she told the manager numerous of times, I am in need of a refund. Yet, the manager haven't sent her a check.

I ordered a magazine from one of their door-to-door salespeople 5 months ago and it has never arrived. A quick web shows that this company is frequently associated with scams. Avoid this company at all times.

We were pulled in by the sad story of the young girl selling the magazines, and still feel maybe she was legit. We were happy to order from her to help her out, knowingly paying more for the book than it was worth. However, it took 8 1/2 MONTHS to receive our order. Numerous calls were frustrating because they gave us the run around, promising to check on it and call back, and, of course, never did. When we finally received the book it was the same title, but was not what we thought we ordered. It was a children's number book that said it had numbered blocks to go with it. There were no blocks and the book itself was hardly bigger than a block.

We too were taken in by the young man's story of how he was trying to help lots of different groups, pick one, any one, we will send the books to that place. I tried to just write a check for 55 dollars but no, I had to buy 3 books. I really didn't want to write a check for that much, but he was pretty compelling. He also took a call from his "boss" and said he was running late. He referenced a few areas of town, but it was evident that he was hnot really very familiar with our part of town. Anyway, I wrote the check and off he went. Something kept gnawing at me though, I looked at the receipt and there was no address that the books were going to. The book names were incorrect. It called out 12 issues of each, even though I paid for hardbacks (single purchases). Then when I found that my neighbors (who were also at his pitch) put a stop payment their check, I also did so. Very smooth talker, seemed empathetic, but absolutely no details were correct. I think if you are going to steal from people, your details have to be a lot more precise. Kinda burned us afterward that he talked about God a lot.....right.

I usually do not buy anything from someone walking up to my door but the salesman was very nice. I ordered $165 worth of magazines, trying to help this young man out. that was in may I have never gotten an email a letter or any of the magazines! When you call the receptionist will only tell you that you must submit a written request for a refund, total bunch of crap. They sure didn't waste any time depositing my check but aren't interested in any type of customer service. Do not buy from this company!

I as well was lured in by the story of a young man trying to better himself. His boss called his cell phone while I was talking with him. I ordered 2 magazines on 9/25/14 and to date, 4+ months later have not received anything. I emailed the company email address directly with all the details and received an email back from a [redacted] and the only thing it said was "Hello, attached is our price list". I responded that I was not interested in a price list and did she read my email about never receiving delivery. The internet is full of bad reviews of this company, unfortunately I had not read up on them before writing my check. Avoid at all costs.

Same thing as the rest; no magazine. Same story; nice gentleman trying to better his life by schlepping door to door selling magazines for a ridiculous price. I asked him what percentage he got off of the sale. He said 50%, so I was willing to help him out even though I am a single mom of two living paycheck to paycheck. I paid $55 for one magazine, as much as I pay for one grocery trip. Figured my good deed would come back to me. It may have, but not in the form of a magazine! It has been 6 months and no magazine despite calls to the number listed on the invoice. What a scam, hopefully the sales person was truthful and got some money out of it! This company should be ashamed of itself!

I placed an order on 9/22/16, with Gregg P, receipt number 109636, and never received any magazines. (It is now 2/10/2017).

Review: Didn't clean small closets. Didn't clean flu in fireplace separate charge. Service tech lied. Called said must speak to owner. Called said call after 10 am. Did then they said he's too busy won't talk to me. Gave them my number never called. Every time I call either is not there or too busy.Desired Settlement: Refund or different tech to clean fireplace flue and small closets which are covered with coupon per office not owner or tech. 5 rooms cleaned and separate charge for fireplace.

Review: They had advertised whole house duct cleaning for $59.99 and sanitizing for $34.99 we have two units so it should have been $190 plus tax. I was not available to reach and my husband was home and they charged $450 for the service. Dirt was left on my floors where they cleaned the vents!!Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund for the amount of $260 because of false advertisement for services provided. That does not provide a solution. There are only two units and I do not have return vents and the coupon was presented for that specific price and I am requesting a refund as indicated in my initial complaint as shown on the attachments previously provided.

Review: I found an advertisement for this company in the value pack coupon package they had a great deal & it stated 100% satisfaction guaranteed so I called to make an appointment to have my carpet cleaned in 4 rooms, hallway & steps. When the guy arrived he didn't say good morning just Master cleaning & asked where were the rooms. I thought that was a little rude but went on to show him the rooms. After looking at the rooms he gave me a price of $145 I stated that the coupon said $44.99. He had a very heavy [redacted] accent & told me that was for basic cleaning if I wanted deep cleaning it would be $145. I stated I wanted the basic bc I've gotten it before with other company's & it cleaned my carpet just fine. He seemed agitated that I didn't want to pay more. He went through the 1st 2 rooms & hallway in 10mins or less so when he proceeded to do the last 2 rooms I stopped him & asked why there wasn't any steam coming out of the cleaner he became agitated stating it was he was huffing & puffing & I said my carpet looks the same it doesn't look clean he shrugged his shoulders as to say oh well & said I should have paid for the $145 service. By this time I'm upset because he was speaking to me in a ride manner & didnt seem to care that the carpet wasn't clean. I told him not to do the steps because it would be a waste of my money he became even more agitated because he had to correct the invoice. He finished the whole 4 rooms & hallway in about 15-20 mins. He left a lot of water on my foyer & just said bye when he left. I was very disappointed in the service so my husband called to complain & the manager was rude to him & didn't try to rectify the situation at all. I think they need to be reported because they have poor professionalism & customer service. They also did a poor halfway job with "cleaning" the carpet.Desired Settlement: Did not get a refund or even an apology.

Review: I contacted MasterClean to have my carpets cleaned. They were supposed to be at my home by 12:00pm however did not arrive until 3:00pm. Additionally, the technician was only here for approximately 45 minutes. The carpet was wet for more than a day causing a major mold issue under my carpet and padding in the living room and a minor mold issue in my bedroom.I have contaced the company on Saturday morning and set up an appointment for Monday morning between 8:00am and 9:00am. The technician has not arrived as of 11:00am and have received no call. I have contacted the company beginning 9:30am Monday morning and they hang up everytime I call.Desired Settlement: There is no way to remove the mold under the padding and carpet therefore I want the carpet and padding replaced in the living room. The bedroom is to be determined.
