I was signed up as a member of massage envy and my card was charged for a monthly massage for over two years on a card that I did not know was active They would not refund me for the money charged but however did offer the 30+ credits back I had three 1/credits left total value of $and I'm now being told that the only way I can get the three 1/credits reinstated would be to renew my membership I do not wish to do this and would like to get this money spent returned as I did not use the services
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I was not told that I had a year to use my credits after they were reinstated if you look online regarding other members issues you’ll quickly find that massage envy profits off “members” paying for services not rendered The credit card I used to pay for the masssages was not in use and I didn’t even realize I was being charged Please issue a refund or a credit for massages which I’ve paid for
Sincerely,

In Mr. [redacted]'s comments he did not mention he was given a full year to use up his pre-paids. The standard corporate policy is to give all members 60 days to use up any remaining pre-paids once a member cancels their membership. Mr [redacted] canceled in August of 2016 after...
realizing he wasn't monitoring his credit card bill and had accumulated a substantial amount of pre-paids. He was given until August of 2017 to continue using pre-paids. During that full year period he was free to transfer prepaids to other individuals or come in as often as he liked. We placed no restrictions on his usage of the pre-paids. He came to us in February of 2018 asking for another extension, which we denied based on the amount of time he had already been given. We take extenuating circumstances into account in many different situations and try to be accommodative. We feel we were quite accommodative with Mr. [redacted] and are disappointed he chose to voice his displeasure in this manner.Sincerely,Scott [redacted]Owner
