I had been a customer of the practice for about a year and had quite a bit of work done. The [redacted]'s work was fine, but I did not enjoy the harassing way they confirmed your next appointment. They would leave several messages on my answering machine until I called the office back and acknowledged the call. I travel for my job and sometimes had multiple calls on my answering machine. I asked them to stop the practice of multiple calls and limit it to one call like every other [redacted] or Medical professional. They said they would, but the very next week I received 5 calls for one appointment. I called the office to complain and I was told "If you return my [redacted] call you wont get some many calls from us". I canceled my appointment and did not go back for about 18 months. Two of the teeth the doctor fixed fell apart so I decided to go back. I always kept my appointments and paid cash for my bills, so I expected no issues. First trip back in [redacted] 2014 the Dentist did fix my tooth at N/C , admitting it was one he fixed. There were a lot of questions why I had not been back for so long, so I explained it to the Dentist. He seemed shocked but he was professional about it. However on my next appointment with the Dental Hygienist, I was harassed about the situation to the point where after about 10 minutes of being chewed out by the hygienist, I got up and left. I was told I was 1 out of 11000 patients and if I didn't like it I might want to find another dentist and she insinuated that I caused her a lot of trouble by me telling the dentist the truth on why I stopped coming to his office. She said they had a lot of [redacted] customers and insinuated that they were lousy customers who didn't show up for appointments, thus the repeated calls. I was told I had no right to expect special treatment and because of the new text system they were using for appointments the repeated calls would continue. Then I got an unsigned letter in the mail on non letterhead paper resigning as my dentist.Desired SettlementI would like the hygienist to apologize and I would expect the Dentist to fix my teeth. I enjoyed most of the staff except for the one unprofessional staff member who should be driving a taxi or working at [redacted] with her customer service skills. I think the Doctor should also explain to his staff that information like the size of his practice and the fact that they consider [redacted] customers low class should be kept to themselves, not spewed out at a paying customer.Business Response
