On July 17, 2018 I received a default judgement from the Honolulu division traffic to “the registered owner of license plate number SJA 243 for delinquent tax on April 10th 2018 at 11pm at night on D5/Libby and Kahai St. I was never at that location in my life, nor do I own any vehicles that have delinquent tax. So I had to dig threw some paper work because I just had a horrible experience a few months back with this lot, and to my surprise it was for a Mercury mountaineer that I had for 2 months from this dealership. In February 2018 I told John P (he claims to be the owner although Sam C is the owner) I can’t pay for the car and to pick it up. John picked the truck up that day in a February 2018. I called MASH inc and spoke to John Penney last week and today and every time he said “I’m not paying for that ticket”. I called the DMV in Honolulu and they said as of today, July 23 2018 that the mercury mountaineer is STILL in my name and technically I could call the car in stolen. She also said to file a motion with the judge for him/her to hear what’s going on which I will. John is claiming he will “credit it to my account on my 1099 including repo fees etc”. I have NO account with this business for him to “credit”. He has NEVER mentioned anything about repo fees or any sort since he took the car back in february 2018 until today when I demanded he pay the ticket he received on HIS car that he still has in my name. The DMV also told me to ask him where the car is since it’s in my name still. And John penny said “that is none of your business” although it’s STILL in my name, and he refuses to take it out of my name.
I purchased a used car from the dealership Mash Cars in ***. The tags was wxpired since 2015, but the owner said he has the stickers. Bought the suv (*** 74k miles. Then the owner told me he has to go get a registration and a safety check. On the 2nd day I had the car, it suddenly died out in *** drive thru. People were angry and screaming at us because th suv wouldnt start. I called the owner and told him I dont want this car. I cannot pay 7k plus interest (which makes it 9000, and 346 a month) for a car that keeps dying out. I asked him to put me and my 3 kids imto a car that worked, and didnt die out or give me back my money ($1500). He refused insisting to have suv fixed by them. I said no I want my money or another car. He said hes gotta attempt to fix it. They took the suv, claimed the fuel filter was clogged and they replaced it with a different one. Picked the car up again. And the gery next day it died out at my daughters school. It continued to die out daily for 6 days until owner john took the suv again. I told the owner I want my money back or a car that works, and again he said no. He then claimed they replaced the crank sensor and that they fixed it. 2 days later car dies out again... the owner still tells
Me Im not getting my money back or another car. But that hed like to attempt to fox again. 6 days later he picks it up and said hes not really sure becUse theirs no codes or on the dash...I get my car back 1 day later. The 2nd day after I got my suv back, it died out again. I texted the owner and asked him for my momey again. He said no he wants tomtake the truck again, that's tomorrow morning (Nov 29th), again refused to give me another car or my money back...and I have to pay 346.00 on dec 7th on a car that doesmt work. This doesmt seem legal, or ethical. Please help.
