Miles was a shady character from the beginning. Knowing I'm a veteran, he charged me $200 more than advertised for the month. He almost gave the rental to the next walk-in after shaking hands with us. Lied about pest control. I had carpenter ants crawling on me at night and possibly bed bugs. He refused to show up for hours at check out, then charged us $25 because we couldn't give him the key, which he already had one. We didn't sign anything that said anything about keys. He said there was a sign in the office, which we could never see because he wasn't there. The place wasn't very clean upon arrival. Crook, don't give him your money. He had no intentions of returning our deposit after we cleaned it. He failed to show up to inspect it when we left.
