Martini's Restaurant & Lounge

Review: On Wednesday December 18, 2013 I attended Martini's Restaurant & Lounge in [redacted], MD. The go-go band [redacted] performs at Martini's each Wednesday from 6pm - 2am. Around 1 am I had an incident with another female in which only words were exchanged. One of the bouncers said something to me, and then he forcefully picked me up and physically removed me from Martini's. In the process I received several cuts on my hands, my right pinky finger was jammed, I have a couple of bruises on my legs as well as an injury to my left ankle. Once I was removed from Martini's ** County police informed me that I could not enter the lounge for the remainder of the night.I have gone to Martini's on numerous occasions and have never experienced a situation like this. I am a 5'8 female who weighs 153 lbs; therefore is no reason for a male bouncer who is 6'3 and who weighs approximately 230 lbs to put his hands on me.Desired Settlement: I was physically harmed by a male bouncer who inflicted cuts and bruises on my body. In addition to the physical turmoil, I also experienced emotional distress. I will be in contact with a lawyer to see what legal ramifications I can pursue.

As a result of my treatment from the security guard, I believe Martini's need to provide better sensitivity training to their employees/contractors. Excessive force was not necessary therefore the security guard did not need to put his hands on me the way that he did.
