Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate their position but why was I sent two bills? Why did it take four months?I have already paid a substantial amoun of money for simple service Sincerely, [redacted]
It appears that this claim was submitted on the 27th of February 2018, I have spoken with the patient on the 7th of March and explained to him that in order for me to best work his concerns I need to contact his insurance company.? This is a process that can take 4-6weeks depending on the claim to resolve, as of today this claim is still being worked they gave me a timeline of 5-days business days, if I don't hear back to give them a call at that time.? I explained to Mr [redacted] during my phone call to him on the 7th of March that I would get back to him when I have the information resolved with the insurance company and not to pay his bill until further notice, and if he had any questions feel free to give me a callIf you have any further questions feel free to contact me at 509-491-My name is Tia I am the office manager for Martin Medical and the provider he was seeing at the timeI will be contacting the patient with the update of todays information from the insurance companyThanks
Mr [redacted] had his visit on Sept 15th 2017, his claim was submitted on the 21st of Sept The average amount of time to hear back from insurance companies is 60-days some may be shorter and some may be longer We got notice for this claim on the 21st of December that it was complete That claim/EOB is taken and entered into our system by our software company to bill for remaining balance of whatever insdoesn't cover This process could take another days depending on time of month and when statements are sent out for that month and every month after until paid Mr [redacted] did have a good amount owing on his claim thus far insurance has put it towards deductible, there is still an amount owing which I have told Mr [redacted] not to pay until we get the final response on the claim, I had noticed an error on the claim that could potentially affect the way it was billed but I won't know until they respondI am set to call the insurance company again on the 10th of April if I don't hear from them before then
