So what he is saying is all of the additional charges are justified.? And I did speak to several by phone trying to get my head around the chargesAre they so used to charging the state that a cash patients are penalized.? I do not think this just in the slightest.? Thank you for your kindness I helping meBut we both know the money is gone with no recourse for compensation.? Our medical services are beyond corrupt they charge whatever they want and we the people have to pay it or ruin our creditIs there no way I can put these charges out to the people of the area so they know before they use a service that over charges and in many way do not provide the services that you actually paid for? All private pay clients are quoted a $85 fee as a minimum for a visit. We do not know the extent of the visit so we charge the lowest fee. This bill was adjusted to a higher code (depends on physician documentation and treatment plan into EHR) with a cost of $165. There was also a screening per the statement which was an additional charge $36 which left a remaining balance at the time of $116. This balance was paid on 3/8/2016. There were other charges(5) for lab in this case as noted by the $196.67 comment in the statement at Marshall County Hospital (MCH) per date of service 6/24/2015. This was sent to collection as noted in the statement on 11/18/2015 (4 months after service and attempts at collection). MCH followed the typical process we do with all patients in this situation.
