I moved out of an apartment (*** * *** **.) in Waupun, WI after living there for a yearThe year we lived there was just fineBefore moving out I asked for a checklist of things to be cleaned in the apartment, but never received oneI scrubbed the place top to bottom over several daysAfter moving out, I was notified that there was a "burn mark" in the carpet and was accused of smoking in the apartmentMy husband and I have never smokedI had noticed the mark while cleaning the carpets but I assumed it was from furniture rubbing as it was a short, straight line a few inches longMark needed to come and inspect the damage and then again claimed we were smoking in the apartment and would need to be charged for further repairs such as painting to get the smell outI left my forwarding address with the managers as they told me to, but when I called the main office I learned they never received itI've been moved out over a month and still waiting for a summary of charges or any of my deposit back

This rental realtor will wait past the late payment period to return unaccepted checks to tenants with an eviction/pay rental + “late” payment noticeIt would be well within business hours and nobody will ever be contacted within the first call
Landlords would rather nail sloppy notes to tenant’s door then to politely knock and hand them the note explaining the situationIt has been two years since the repair guy came by saying he’ll be back the next day to fix the air conditioner
Overall, their building sites are poorly maintained with garbage materials all over the parking lot and double parking on streetsSidewalks are not salted during the winter, waiting for a lawsuit to happen
