Buyer Beware!
Mark Motors is either guilty of deceptive business practices or extreme incompetence.
I was quoted on a vehicle through their website and later updated by their sales representation, who assured me that the vehicle was in stock, and the pricing was good.
Upon arrival at the dealer, they tried a "Bait and Switch", showing me a base model vehicle, and claimed this was the vehicle I was quoted on.
They would not honor the pricing for the vehicle I was quoted on that clearly defined the model # and options listed. I received no apology from them on this, and was told there was nothing they could do. I was given a call later that day by the sales manager who said there was some confusion on their part as to how this happened. "It must have been whoever did our website" is what I was told.
So then the question: Why was I given two quotes, with the pricing, model # and features listed on it? Did no one review the information before sending it to me?
Did they know this was the scam, and tried to hide this fact from me, or they are complete is to quote me twice on a vehicle with the complete description and model listed on the quote.
Either way does not fare well with me.
