We are very unsatisfied with a recent experience at Mark Martin Chevrolet Service Department in Melbourne, AR My work crew was on a long road trip when they experienced problems with our work truck It was towed to the Melbourne location We were told that the truck's injectors had blown up and the cost for repair would be a whopping $ I called my local dealer and explained the issue with the truck and his assessment over the phone was that it sounded like a bad fuel line and not bad injectors Not satisfied with the assessment of MM Melbourne, I had my crew tow the truck from Melbourne to my local dealer (almost miles away) The local tech said NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE TRUCK, it was "mysteriously" running fine and it was obvious a brand new fuel line was installed on the truck recently! In summation, my belief is that MM Melbourne service department replaced the fuel line and tried to stick us with a outrageous $bill for work they did not plan on ever doing....hoping that we would just accept their quote since we were an out of town business If this is the kind of business ethics that MM Melbourne routinely practices with their customers, I say be aware
Went to look at a vehicle, I already had my own financingThey wanted to see if they could do better IF we agreed on the numbersI specifically told then not to run my creditThey did anyways, without me knowing until I saw it hit my credit report
