Had taken boat to marine services to have leg replaced. Motor run smooth no issues. They claim when they had it. There was water in oil cracked manifolds and cracked block. Motor would hardly run. Said it had been froze up. Parts and labor adding up to around $1846 over and above price to fix the leg. Those issues with the motor where not present when I had it running at the lake. [redacted]Desired SettlementWould like to pay for the parts and labour involved in fixing the leg of the boat and not the damages to motorBusiness Response WITHOUT PREJUDICE:We called and talked to [redacted] with regards to the issues we discovered with his boat motor and proceeded only after we discussed the problems and got the go ahead. We have accepted [redacted]'s partial payment on this issue even though we feel it was not our responsibility. Warranty is null and void due to picking up his unit on Friday Nov 28 between 1 - 2 pm, paying us with a cheque drawn on the [redacted] and stopping payment on Monday Dec 1. Second cheque was drawn on a different bank ([redacted]). We take no responsibility on this and any dealings with this individual.
