This customer brought us his boat this summer with major issues as it was NOT properly winterized the year before by someone other then us .He dropped off the boat here we looked at it gave him a rough estimate and he said to go ahead and fix it .As we were waiting for parts the boat was parked outside the cover I guess was off the boat 1/laying on the ground which I never knew but he stopped one day and saw this .After we looked at the engine ordered the new one we also had to have the intake manifold checked as its not part of a replacement engine .It tested bad so we ordered one for it not sure he was informed of the cost but there was no way it could of been fixed without it .I believe [redacted] called him and or tried to explain to him about it .Then the intake manifold was back ordered from the manufacturer of the part he wasn't the only one anyone or marina was waiting on them all summer.I think he didn't really get that it was out of our control time wise until the part showed up .In the end the part came in , he picked up the boat , "I personally explained to him about having it serviced from now on at a regular dealer not a friend or back yard mechanic .I also gave him a discount *good Size [redacted] on the bill he left here a happy person with us .End of story

Review: Took my boat to this business and received a worst case quote to fix and also a timeframe to complete job. Time frame to complete job has tripled with very sketchy explanations as to why. I have made many attempts to get this rectified and when job is suppose to be complete price has increased significantly with no reason or explanation.Desired Settlement: I would like the job finished with explanation and at the agreed to price.
