Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [redacted] or technician are not providing correct information When the technician came to provide service, he never unplugged the furnace when he left All he said was not to use the system so that he can investigate since the lines were frozen The furnace was only unplugged AFTER we (the owners) found a burning smell coming from the unit That is when I initially called the home warranty service to report the situation that occurred The home warranty service has that called logged in their system Additionally the report that the company provided to the home warranty company also stated that we homeowner had connected the furnace and ran the system, but in the response to this complaint, now the company is not specifying who's to blame and leaves it up in the air? [redacted] and their technician needs to take responsibility for their error which left us without proper air conditioning for approximately weeks since the home warranty denied our claim due to [redacted] 's misleading and inaccurate report We had to pay out of pocket for a replacement system which should not have been our responsibility since the home warranty company sided with the information provided by [redacted] The 2nd AC contractor for First American had initially assessed a ~$7k repair bill for replacing the system, so that is what is needed from [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[redacted] or technician are not providing correct information. When the technician came to provide service, he never unplugged the furnace when he left. All he said was not to use the system so that he can investigate since the lines were frozen. The furnace was only unplugged AFTER we (the owners) found a burning smell coming from the unit. That is when I initially called the home warranty service to report the situation that occurred. The home warranty service has that called logged in their system. Additionally the report that the company provided to the home warranty company also stated that we homeowner had connected the furnace and ran the system, but in the response to this complaint, now the company is not specifying who's to blame and leaves it up in the air? [redacted] and their technician needs to take responsibility for their error which left us without proper air conditioning for approximately 4 weeks since the home warranty denied our claim due to [redacted]'s misleading and inaccurate report. We had to pay out of pocket for a replacement system which should not have been our responsibility since the home warranty company sided with the false information provided by [redacted]. The 2nd AC contractor for First American had initially assessed a ~$7k repair bill for replacing the system, so that is what is needed from [redacted].
