On 11-29-picked up two special order recliners from Furniture MartOn 1-23-after three months of enduring great discomfort sitting on these recliners, I contacted the manufacturer via e-mailVia email I complained that the workmanship on these recliners are very poor There is no padding on the inside arms of both chairs There is padding only on top of the narrow arms causing me to feel the sharp wood edges It feels like I am sitting inside of a wood boxAlso complained that there is a gap between back and seat when recliningOn 1-24-received email from manufacturer stating I was to contact Furniture Mart where I purchased the recliners They stated all warranties and repairs are handled through the retailer On 1-24-I contacted Furniture Mart about my complaints On 1-24-I received an generic reply confirming received the inquiry On 1-25-received via email from Furniture Mart that a customer service representative would be contacting me On 1-27-Furniture Mart sent out an inspector to inspect the recliners The inspector did not sit in the chair and thus had no way of feeling the discomfort I received a call from the manager of Furniture Mart and he did not resolve the complaint I did not request a refund for these defective chairs but wanted to return them for an exchange Furniture Mart was unwilling to do anythingI also purchased Furniture Marts Product Protection Plan costing $200!! The manufacturer and the retailer kept passing the buck!! Probably wondering why I waited until 1-12-to submit a reviewI decided that Jacksonville Furniture Mart needs to know how dissatisfied a customer was with there company
