If you are in the market for a new home look else where! We have been in our home for less than a year and have already had mold in the bathroom, carpet coming up in corners and coming apart at the seam where the tile meets the carpet and the tacks are sticking out BUT ITS NOT A WARRANTIED ITEM, have had to caulk and repaint where baseboards and molding meets, baseboards in the garage have been replaced because of warping, water is coming out of the garbage disposal button on the counter (it has been replaced once already), one of the breakers has been replaced because of the WATER COMING OUT OF THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL BUTTON, the list goes on.
My front yard has been dug up numerous times (ruining my lawn) because they can't get it together to have all utilities tied in together at the same time. And God forbid they cut one of your cables because you will never know who did it or why they were even in your yard.
The response that you get from Manuel if you get one is "We will consider our position" or "That is not a warranty covered issue". Basically not their problem.
There is zero communication between subcontractors, superintendents and homeowners. Your calls will be avoided, disregarded and never acknowledged. You are nothing more than a number to them. Once they get your money you cease to exist.

Unreasonable, money hungry thievesIt turns out our family isn't moving to Louisiana anymore, a work change.They hadn't even applied for permits let alone begun the build and they kept our deposit (which we understood because we knew the DEPOSIT was non refundable) but they also kept our "prepaid" moneymoney paid for upgrades on a home that was NEVER built$do not work with them!

I have contacted Manual Builder before complaining about the lack of drainage of the sidewalk in front of the my home The sidewalk holds water for days after the rain and it is not usable and as such you must walk or side bikes etc on the grass which is damaging my property Manual Builders installed the sidewalks Manual Builders indicated that they are only responsible for drainage ft away from the home I therefore contacted the City of New Iberia who informed me that because the City never accepted the sidewalks THIS IS A MANUAL BUILDERS ISSUE Since I have bought the home I have learned of many many many issue with the way Manual Builders does business, primarily from neighbors within Summerfield Even our City council acknowledges their are issues with Manual BuildersResolution would be to fix the drainage
