Have received bills dated 4/30/2014 $13,830.50, 5/22/2014 for $5,821.34, and one for 5/31/2014 $5,938.59 concerning my mother's stay at the nursing home facility, each with a different amount and apparently each superseding the other. Received another notice from a bill collection agency dated 6/10/2014 for a 4th amount, $6,034.33.On June 2nd, requested claim to be filed with third party payer who has approved to pay. Also indicated that bill appears to be for a private room and should be billed for a semi-private as per conversations with previous business office manager. Have requested via email on 6/10/2014 for an itemized statement and the disposition of the third party payer request.Have not had my phone calls returned or email answered.Desired SettlementWould like to receive itemized information, change of room type for which billing is based on, and disposition of third party claim as opposed to a notice from a bill collection agency. Business Response Manorcare's central billing department has been notified of third party payer information and amount will be billed. Business office support has notified the customer of the reasoning behind the different billing amounts in the form of an e mail.
