Review: I hired Mr. [redacted] to prune 5 trees here in my home and he asked for $2,500 cash. He said he could not start the work until I paid him. I asked if I could pay him with a check to have proof of the amount I was going to pay him and he said no, he said he does not want the IRS to audit him again because then they will find out how much his real profits are. I really needed the work so I went ahead and paid Mr. [redacted] cash and he said he was going to start the work right away. This was like one month ago and I have been calling him to see if he is going to do the work and when he will start and he said later and lately he doesn't even answer the phone and he puts his wife on the phone to speak with me, his wife M[redacted]. I've told him I don't wish to speak with his wife because I did not hire her and she has nothing to do with my pruning needs. I asked him to give me a receipt to prove I've already paid him for the work and he got all upset and he cussed me out and he insulted me calling me a fat cow and told me to go pay someone else. I have already paid this man and it is so disappointing how dishonest he is. I would not recommend anyone doing business with this man, Mr. [redacted]. His work ethic is terrible.Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. [redacted] to pay me back the money he charged me. I would like him to pay me back as soon as possible so that I can hire someone else to prune my trees.
