The document sent by [redacted] was not signed by only the representative of our company but by [redacted] himself. Why did he sign if he feels the information thereof was not right. We invite him to come to the office to amend any information he feels he did not provide. He just filed in February 2017. He got plenty of time to amend. Our doors are open. Our fee is still the same, either he get a refund or pay back. Why is he so much interested in the fee he paid than core issue. Thank you.

Dear Ms. [redacted]I received notification that Ms. [redacted] reported my business, Mane Attraction Salon, to the Revdex.com regarding my stylist, Carly, and the service of Aqua Hair Extensions.First and foremost, all clients are given a free 30 minute consultation regarding the cost of hair, the process and...

time it takes, the upkeep, and continuous replacement of the extensions. On January 6, 2017, consultation lasted 1.5 hours, and no additional cost. The value of a 30 minute consultation is $25.00. So essentially she received a $75 value consult for free due to all of her requests and inquiries. This is highly unusual for a consult to last this long.Ms. [redacted] was made aware that the cost for the extensions was not refundable. Once she purchased them, they were her property. With that being said, our Aqua representative called to tell me that Ms. [redacted] immediately contacted Aqua Hair for a refund after they were purchased through my salon. When I contacted the client about this, she seemed to be having second thoughts about having them put in.On January 14, my stylist, Carly, had to color Ms. [redacted]’s own hair with multiple colors, which were attempts to please the client’s constantly changing requests, since she continued to change her mind on color AND style. She originally told us she wanted a short bob at the consult, which jeopardized the new placement of the extensions because that is what they were ordered for, not the new style she was requesting the day of her appointment. I, and my stylists, felt that she left the salon satisfied. We had no indication otherwise. On January 19, Ms. [redacted] came in to have Carly color some of the extensions to match the new style and color she requested on January 14. Extensions come in packages of 10—the client wanted a few low lights, highlights and red pieces. The extensions also had to be cut (not chopped as she stated) to accommodate for the new hair style. The client then called Carly after the appointment raving about how much she loved her hair and made comments on Facebook as well—"Loving Extentions.”Ms. [redacted] then called Carly about an extension coming loose. Carly replaced the extension. Never was there a mention of a bobby pin. Carly replaced 3 more extensions to accommodate Ms. [redacted] again. Client-care of extensions is extremely important. Carly explained all of that again and that extensions need replacing every 6 weeks. It is not an inexpensive style to maintain. On February 4 the client was calling about loose extensions again. She came in on February 11 for Carly to redo these pieces. This was 3 weeks out, not as Ms. [redacted] states. This also was done free of charge. She then asked Carly about a price for re-taping all extensions—Carly repeated what the client was told at the original consultation. To remove, retape and replace the extensions was going to be $250. The client also needed her own hair colored again. The cost for this service is not included in the $250. This is a separate service. The client asked my stylist if she did hair on the side. Carly told her no. The client then stated she was going to check other salons. She was told at the consult that she could not have the extensions serviced by another salon, or any agreement with Mane Attraction would be void. The next communication from her was her saying she went to a new salon who said we were not certified, and wanting a total refund. She also asserted I ran a poor business. The client was well aware mysaion/stylist was certified to do Aqua extensions. Carly has done extensions for years. 1 repeated to her for about the third time that the extensions belong to her not the salon. I refused to reimburse her. However, I told her if she would like, 1 would have another certified stylist take the extensions out and replace (again, $250)vThe'dient'said'shre already had this done at a different saion, so I explained again that this voided anything we could do for her at this point. This is the first complaint in 11 years at this salon. I feel as the owner/stylist we have completely tried everything possible to please this client. I think the cost of maintaining the extensions was too much for her and she regretted going forward with the whoie process and decided she just wanted her money back. Everything the client complained about we made sure to cover in the initial hour and a half consultation.Thank you for your time.Donna C[redacted] Mane Attraction Salon.$254.13 Cost for Extentions for Client77.00 Roots and Cut$300.00 {$85 to color extensions and $215 to apply them)$631.13 Total Cost

Dear Ms. [redacted]:This is in response to Ms. C[redacted]’s claim regarding ID [redacted]. My response is as follows:In response to Ms. C[redacted]’s letter, I would like to make it clear that her account of the events thattranspired at her shop, Mane Attractions, are fraught with inaccuracies.Ms. C[redacted] claims as if she had firsthand knowledge of my initial consultation which occurred January, 6,2017. She was not present and is blatantly wrong. She apparently has the chain of events that tookplace that day incorrect. Had she been there or asked me, she would have realized her statement that Ireceived a $75 value consult for free is false. Additionally, she claims that it was due to all of myrequests and inquiries which lasted 1 ½ hours. My appointment was scheduled at 3:00 PM. When I arrived at the shop, I had to wait approximately ½hour to 40 minutes because Carly was in the middle of doing her sister’s extensions, who by the way didnot have an appointment that day. This is simply wrong and offensive because I didn’t appreciatewaiting that long when I had an appointment, and then to be accused of getting free service isridiculous. I left the shop at approximately 4:10 PM. As it looks, Ms. C[redacted]’s statements seem to reflectthat she doesn’t always know what goes on in her shop when she isn’t there. This is why it was a “highlyunusual for a consult to last that long” as she stated because it didn’t.On January 14, 2017, my stylist, Carly, was to color my hair and put extensions in. I specifically told herwhat color I wanted. Her finished product was nowhere near what I asked for. I was there for a total ofsix hours to fix Carly’s mistake – not mine. I have been getting my hair highlighted for over 30 years and20 years are with the same hairdresser and have never had to have my hair redone. In fact, I was thereso long that day that I couldn’t get the extensions done that day. To her credit, the manager of the shopthat day told Carly not to charge me. She did witness what transpired and obviously felt the need tocompensate me.A few days later the owner left a message and told me I had to pay for the services rendered regardlessof whose fault it was. I thought this was very unprofessional. The person she had left in charge that dayfelt the need to tell me not to pay – I didn’t say I would not pay.I had to go back the following week to have my extensions put in. I was pleased with my extensionsuntil two days later. Then the next day the pieces were sticking up and not secure. Both sides wereplaced differently. The statement that I changed hairstyles after the extensions does not make sense asas the extensions were long and straight so the style had nothing to do with the placing of theextensions and making them stick and unsecure and dangling. Carly just trimmed them so there was nohairstyle that factored in. Again, it was not a problem with the extensions but the placing and beingloose that caused me to go bald. I started the process of trying to get them corrected January 23, 2017,two days after I had the extensions placed. After several text messages to Carly before a few ultimatelyfell out, she told me to work with them, tease and try to place where needed. I thought that is why Ipaid Carly to put them in.A few weeks later and after after several more messages to Carly she did adjust them to no avail, as youcan see by the pictures enclosed the pieces gave me bald spots on both sides. I did call and asked for arefund as I had to take them out but was told that I could not get one and was offered for someone elseto do it. I was not comfortable with after what I went through not with the cost of the maintenance as Iknew this up front. It was the quality of work that was done and the unprofessionalism.I did not have a new company put them in but I had to have them taken out because they were hurtingmy scalp. I went to another shop to see what the problem was, and they noticed the bald spots on myhead from the extensions, and I had to get them out. Money and the maintenance on the extensionswas not a factor – it was a factor if they were sticking out and making me bald after a few weeks. Ididn’t keep changing my mind as Ms. C[redacted] is alluding to, just wanted them secure and not sticking out. They wanted $250 again for her mistake. As far as me not maintaining them, I followed the directionswith no washing of my hair so I’m not sure how I could have messed them up. Had the cost been afactor, I simply wouldn’t have got them to begin with.I feel the shop was very unprofessional and even with their billing as you can see. The owner claims inher response that I paid $631.13. I have the receipts which show that I paid $708.13 apparently billedtwice for the roots and cut so as Carly was so evasive over the cost, Ms,C[redacted] even looking back on ithas prices that were not accurate either. I am awaiting a refund for that as well.1/10/17 - $254.13 (extensions)1/20/17 - $77.00 (roots and cut)1/21/17 - $377.00 (color extension and apply)$708.13Sincerely,[redacted]Attachments
