The issue is, a Mancuso employee, son of owner, gave me a price of $150, performed the work under agreed arrangements and did not notify me or obtain my consent of the price change. It is not my responsibility to assume or know the exact cost. Additionally, the work performed was subpar and unsatisfactory because the bumper has and continues to separate from the body of the car, there is a gap forming and, the paint used doesn't match the car's original paint. I am completely dissatisfied.
Review: I was given a work estimate of $150 for requested repairs, a brief explanation of repair process and when car would be ready. Owner ensured me that work order was not necessary but would be provided upon pickup. Car kept longer than promised. When I returned to pick up car, the owner charged me more than double the price discussed, no additional repairs or services performed. The work order given did not show payments that I made but showed that an insurance company did. Nick M[redacted] and owners of Mancuso Auto Body are indecent, untrusting and scammers.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded payments made in excess of $150.

Response:
[redacted] Our response to [redacted] complaint, yes we replaced his bumper to his 2002 Honda Civic July **, 2015. There is no possible way we could have done the repairs for only $150 dollars when the parts cost over $100 dollars and the repairs were 4.7 hours at $55 dollars an hour labor. The labor hours included 3.5 for painting 1.2 hours for installing the bumper, also the paint supplies were $87.50. Our facility uses a estimating system for the estimate. please, see attached Invoices for proof of purchase. Hoping this issue is resolved after reviewing this matter. Please, contact me at [redacted] if I could be of further help. Sincerely, Karoline E[redacted] Office Manager

Response:
The business has responded. Please see below:Our response to [redacted] complaint, [redacted] possibly could have not quoted $150.00 for the replacement of the bumper and paint as we already explained why in our first response. As per the bumper being separated from the body is because the right rear quarter panel to his vehicle is damaged and we tried to aligned it the best we could have and as the paint not matching that is because the car has 13 year old paint on it and we put knew paint on the bumper. Hoping this solves [redacted] issue that he has with our facility. Sincerely, Karoline E[redacted]

[Your Answer Here]There will be no definitive response here because you, Caroline and your staff will not admit to the injustice done here. The young lad quoted a price of 150 in the presence of myself and wife. That price was given after visually inspecting the bumper. Had staff there been properly trained, maybe It would have been pointed out that the bumper replacement would not be as simple as stated. Do I dare address the phony looking service order provided to me, which states an insurance company paid, and not the me, the customer. In finality, let it be know that this custome is extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the level of professionalism and the work performed on my vehicle.
