for the five years that they had lived there.He performed an extensive cleaning on the air cleaner and restored operation of the furnace*** *** was only charged a diagnostic fee and for cleaning of the air cleaner.The furnace had never been maintained and was in poor condition due to neglectThe conditions were also bad for the service technician due to two aggressive dogs trying to break out of their cages.Mike did not feel safe while on the service call. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed To begin with I have not lived in my house for 5 years, I bought this house 2 years ago. The extensive cleaning consisted of rinsing the metal filter off with a hose. At that time Mike had informed me to call if the issue persisted. I called the very next morning for the same issue. No one ever mentioned my dogs until now. One was tied up outside and the other 40 pound dog was in his cage. Neither were trying to break down cages to attack anyone. I ended up with no furnace on the weekend with 4 kids in my house. I had to call some one out who said yes my furnace is older but still in okay condition. The official problem was the motor. I called multiple times for someone to come back out and was ignored or told to contact someone else. The $105 fee for coming out was good for 30 days and the issue was not corrected the first time they came.
