The absolute worst insurance company I have ever paid. To start, their customer service is horrific, I have been hung up on more than a couple of times due to me asking clarifying questions and the "agent" could not or did not want to answer. Their rates are significantly higher and they hide so many little clauses in their coverage which leave you (the insured) individual in a bad position even in an incident that is not your fault. I would give 0 stars if Revdex.com would allow me. My term with them is finally over and they are finally dropped as my insurance company, I would rather pay more just for better customer service. If your considering Main Street America, do not bother. They will only give you headaches and an overall poor experience.

I took out a commercial insurance policy to cover my tool truck. I hit a deer with damage to the front end of my truck. Was paying for rental insurance 4 equal value. They said they'd give me $50 a day on truck rental. But if I go to greasy because that's my job then I was having to pay for that. How can you put tools in truck to do on-site repair without any grease? And where do you get a tool truck for $50 a day.No reimbursement for loss of work. So why should I have to pay for commercial insurance.

Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. So much confusion and delay in accident process. Called multiple times to get information and left messages only to get ignored. Then told two weeks later paperwork was messed up and not submitted right. Then told they took my car that I didnt consent to from the body shop to an unknown location. While the title is in my name still and never received an estimate of what they wanna pay me to total it. This is a month now im going on with a bunch of beating around the bush and trying to hide their screw ups.

My vehicle was totaled out due to an accident that is not my fault. Main Street Group is refusing to pay for my 12 day old tires and my remote start both of which I have submitted receipts for. They are also not offering fair value payout for my vehicle either. They are using CCC (a 3rd party company) to gather their payout costs to their insureds. This CCC company is currently under investigation by the Massachusetts Department of Insurance for unjustly low balling consumers and is potentially facing a class action law suit. I will never do business with this company again!

If I could give zero stars I would. Their policy holder, Mrs. Park hit ME coming into a parking garage on the wrong side of the road, facing outgoing traffic and hit my car.
AMANDA *** (***) my insurance adjuster through them has not returned a single voicemail 8 of them since DECEMBER 21st...it is now January 9th.
HER supervisor, KATHY *** has not returned two voicemails I have left over the past week.
As of today I have reached out to KATHY's supervisor DEB ***, whose voicemail says she is out until january 2nd, so clearly this woman cannot even update her voicemail...I have left HER a voicemail and called three times.
As of today I have also reached out to KATHY's supervisor BoB *** at ext *** (you can get to the main number by pressing 0 during the voicemail recordings of any of the people above, then enter this extension). I've left him a voicemail as well.
It is OVERTLY evident that these people (aside from Bob so far) are BUMPING MY CALLS TO VOICEMAIL, as you can tell because of the call going to voicemail immediately, then after two rings, then 4, then normally, as I have attempted to be irritating at this point and called 8+ times back to back to Amanda's number to test this...in which case I found she was bumping me to voicemail repeatedly, as was Kathy and Deb.
THIS is the WORST insurance company if one of their policy holder's hits you. I will be pursuing legal recourse if I do not hear back from them soon. I would NOT BE SURPRISED if this is some FLY BY NIGHT INSURANCE COMPANY THAT IS FAKE AND DISAPPEARS A FEW TIMES A YEAR, RENAMING ITSELF TO A NEW COMPANY NAME EACH TIME.
ALL I WANT IS A FREAKING STATUS UPDATE ON MY CLAIM AGAIN THEIR POLICY HOLDER WHO CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DRIVE ON THE CORRECT SIDE OF THE ROAD. AT LEAST LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE DENYING THE CLAIM SO I CAN TAKE HER TO COURT AND EASILY GET PAID THE LESS THAN $300 IN DAMAGE SHE CAUSED TO MY CAR. NO I WILL NOT USE MY INSURANCE TO PAY FOR THIS, TELL YOUR DRIVER TO LEARN WHICH SIDE OF THE ROAD TO DRIVE ON. I HOPE SHE CANCELS HER POLICY WITH YOU AFTER THE PROBLEMS YOU ARE GOING TO BRING UPON HER BECAUSE OF YOUR LACK OF RESPONSE.

This is absolutely the worst insurance company on the planet. I am dealing with a Charlene *** there and she is very unpleasant. I deal with insurance companies on a daily basis as a paralegal and this is by far the most incompetent insurance company out there. An insurance adjuster that thinks she needs to put acronyms by her name to make her sound more important does nothing for me. You would be better off with any other insurance company than this.

On 06/27/2017 my business was damage due to fire. As of 04/12/2018 each represenative with this company has failed to pay loss earnings for my business or the rent at the temporary location due to displacement. I have supplied all requested documents even Bank Statements to their Forensic Accountant. I'm using / depleting my savings to met the course of remaining open. The reimbursment the rental fees are late or don't arrived at all. Not the company for anyone, they don't reply to social media also tags.

This company is terrible. I set up electronic funds transfer with them and it comes out on a different date each month rather than on a certain date. I have never heard of etf that didn't come out on a certain date. I don't want to do math in order to figure out what date my bill is coming out. I talked to a girl named cindy in customer service to try to rectify it and she was arrogant and unhelpful not listening to me and always talking over me before I could get a sentence out. It got to the point where I had to say to her are you listening to me or are you just a recording. They obviously have many calls to this end because it seemed like she knew what I was going to say. I finally said to her, after numerous pleas for her to listen to me, I will be finding a new insurance company that will listen to me that actually knows what customer service means. don't waste your time with this company.

Run, don’t walk away from this company. The person that I dealt with in the claims department was rude, demeaning and accusatory. I am a professional with high moral standards and was astonished at the blatant disrespect within this department. They denied my claim for reasons that I totally did not agree with so I filed a claim with the Massachusetts insurance commissioner and they ruled in my favor. Point made!

I was hit by a deer and my car was totaled. When my car was appraised, it came in at 1000 dollars less than both Kelley Blue Book and Edmund's prices. I sent them examples of used cars in my area that were more expensive (even when you added the higher mileage penalty) and they still wouldn't budge on their offer. Their customer service response is very slow- an average of 4-5 days per email. No explanation of why the large difference in price. Now they tell me (after 45 days waiting) that I can go to an arbitrator, (at my cost.) The cost to me would be more than the difference in our price. I do not believe that they are a treating me fairly or honestly.

Had a claim with MSA and everything went well until it came time to get the Recoverable Depreciation released. My claim went to a desk adjuster, ***, whom was very sarcastic and rude. It is a shame that they have such a spiteful employee in the company.
