I have discovered valuable items missing from my house and the company has done nothing about it. I have filed a police report and would like to warn the consumers not to use their services.
Review: I employed Maid Brigade to clean my home. The company advertises that they are licensed, bonded and insured. I noticed missing jewelry every month. After I was 100% sure that the cleaning staff took the jewelry, I notified the manager and filed a police report. After going back and forward, she advised me to file a claim with my home insurance company . She further told me that the company policy only covered breakage. The ADs certainly do not make this clear. Most people, just like me, believe that they are covered from any losses as a result of the company.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that the company return monies charged me due to the fact that their advertisement is false and misleading. I commissioned with them for services based opon the integrity of the company and its workers. The advertisements they use to lure people in believing that their home and valuables are secure is wrong.

Dear **. [redacted],
I very much regret the delay in responding to your initial inquiry on this matter, but unfortunately our firewall had filtered all of your previous emails out of our incoming e-mail delivery. We only learned of the complaint after your recent phone call, so thank you for your extra follow-up. If at all possible, we would appreciate receiving any future correspondence by mail also
[redacted] did engage Maid Brigade to provide house cleaning services at her home on [redacted] in [redacted] beginning on 4.23.12 and continuing until the cancelation of service, with the last cleaning being 10.19 12.
[redacted] did call our office on 10.19.12 to inform us that it was her belief that our maids had taken several pieces of jewelry from her home. This is a matter that is extremely important to us and since it is a criminal matter, we advised [redacted] to file a police report with her local police department and to let her homeowners insurance know about the matter so that they could act as her advocate.
[redacted] did follow through with the police report and provided us with the case number and investigating officer name. We immediately contacted the investigating officer to offer any assistance that might be helpful. We have subsequently followed up several times.
In the meantime, we questioned the maids who cleaned [redacted]’s home on the dates in question. Both of the Maids denied that they had taken anything from [redacted]’s home. We took the additional step of engaging a private, independent organization to administer a lie detection test to the maids that were in [redacted]’s home. The results certified that the maids had not taken the jewelry from [redacted]’s house. We reported the results to the police and have been in contact with them periodically for follow-up.
Maid Brigade is licensed, bonded and insured, but in this case, at this point, [redacted]’s allegations have not been proven and the appropriate authorities are still conducting an ongoing open investigation.
We are very eager for this matter to be resolved. We enjoy an excellent reputation and are committed to maintaining the highest standard of integrity. We will do anything that we can to bring it to a fair and equitable close for everyone involved.
If you need additional information or we can be of any additional help in this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
