Magnolia Dentistry

I went in to Magnolia Dentistry in Burbank *** on February 5, 2020 because I had a small bump on the top of my lower front tooth that I asked to have evened/smoothed out. *** was the dentist at the practice that saw me. 'Instead of smoothing out the tooth, a minor procedure, I left with a large U shaped indent in the top of my tooth, making this part of the tooth weak and very sensitive/painful. 'She also made the back of my tooth very rough by running the grinding tool over that as well. 'I let her know my unhappiness at the time and the discomfort I was feeling, and she said to keep running my tongue over my teeth and that would smooth it out (which didn't sound right). 'After two days at home, with both the look and feel of this damage bothering me, I called and made an appointment to go back to have it fixed. 'This time I saw ***, the owner of the practice. 'He would not do anything to fix my problem, saying that he could only take care of it if I paid him MORE money to put a filling in where *** gouged out my tooth. 'I obviously opted not to go this route. 'Over the next two weeks, my teeth have been in pain because of the treatment that I received at this practice, not to mention the mental anguish I'm experiencing of being damaged and then dismissed by this dental office. 'I called back again early this week to try to talk with the office about the potential of a refund, so I could get help elsewhere, and the receptionists became very abrasive and rude, even hanging up on me two times in a row, when I was calmly discussing my problem. 'I then called back a third time and asked to speak with the owner, *** , who they said would call me back. 'After three days waiting, he never did, so I called again this morning. 'They said that *** decided that he didn't want my business so he didn't feel the need to call me back, and then that receptionist argued with me again, telling me they would not help me, and promptly ended the call as well. 'Never have I been treated so poorly by a dental office in my life. 'Not only did they cause me damage and pain, even affecting my job as I speak for a living, the total and complete lack of care was unbelievable, with them rudely dismissing me and, as mentioned, literally hanging up on me several times and telling me "our conversation is done". 'Patients put their trust in dentists, and no dentist should be able to cause harm to a patient and then expect them to pay even more money to help repair the damage they inflicted, let alone treat them so rudely, leaving them as harmed and deserted victims.
