Review: I am a member of Magellan's Complete Care Health Plan in Florida. I was assigned to the insurance 26 days ago and since then it has been a nightmare.No one seems to know what they are doing or what to do at Magellan when you call them.I have several types of medical issue for which I was already receiving treatment for when I was switched to Magellan.Under the [redacted] directive I was supposed to continue to receive those services for 60 days after the changeover.In the month since I have switched to Magellan they have neglected to forward the appropriate authorizations to my providers, in plain English they have not forwarded anything to my providers causing me to go without crucial medical serices for a month and my condition to worsen.The most pressing of these three is the Physical Therapy which I have not been able to continue to receive in the past month. I call Magellan every day and they just say that they are working on it, I been told that it is no problem and that it has been approved. But when I call the providers they have not heard anything from Magellan, so I cannot receive the treatment.Magellan even contacted [redacted] in ERROR several weeks ago without contacting me first and told them that the services were not covered.Then I subsequently talked to other representatives [redacted], who corrected her error verbally but no one has sent this correction to the provider.The care I have received from Magellan is deplorable.Desired Settlement: Apart from the information being publicly available, I would like Magellan to forward the applicable paperwork (authorization for payment for services) to my providers.
