We purchased tickets to see a show on Thursday, March *** at Radio City Music Hall. I am in my 70th year and my husband is in his 73rd year. We were advised for health reasons not to attend this performance due to COVID-19. We tried contacting Radio City for a refund or to exchange the tickets for a future performance to no avail. Our calls were directed to Madison Square Garden for help. MSG was unresponsive to our emails/calls. It is important to note that the entire Broadway Theater District, Carnegie Hall and other performances were closed/cancelled that day due to COVID-19. The performance about which we are writing was not canceled in spite of the NY Mayor's order that there be no gatherings or meetings larger than 50 people. We feel justified in asking for a refund or at a minimum to have the value of two tickets ($250) be applied to a future non-COVID-19 restricted performance. These are unprecendented times; otherwise we wouldn't make this request.
Dear
***:We have investigated the complaint filed with the Revdex.com by consumers *** We were first made aware of the ***’s
situation when our offices were contacted on March , 2020, prior to the start
of the performance of Riverdance they held tickets for. At that time, as a gesture of good will, we
provided a refund to them in the amount of $301.00 to their Visa card on record
ending in ***. The next page of this
response shows the record of the transaction and the refund (highlighted in
yellow). At no time was a refund denied to the ***. We have attempted to contact them both at the
phone numbers we have on record and by email, with no response. We hope that we have been able to address the ***’s
concern. If we may be of further
assistance you may contact us at , during normal business hours.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the ***’s
claim. Sincerely,

*** And
I made a purchase at this venue after a concert on 2//20 it was after the show so the purchase date may have been after midnight dated 2//20, during this purchase of (2) t-shirts @$45.00 each and the total purchase was $90.00. I had a gift card (vanilla visa card) with a balance of $50.00 I had received for Christmas. I know for a fact the amount of the card because I had called to check prior to going to the show. I asked if I could use the card balance and pay the remainder in cash. The attendant agreed and swiped the card then something went wrong. He had gotten all flustered and continued to tell me the was no money on the card. When I insisted there was he had brought over another attendant who also could not seem to find the problem. I decided to pay cash for my total purchase being it was very late, we had a long drive and there were a lot of people still on line behind us. I asked for my card back and paid full in cash. The next day I checked the balance of the card, it was zero. I called the phone number on the card, their customer service said the $50.00 balance was charged by Madison Square Garden the night prior to my call. I was advised to reach out to Madison Square Garden with my dispute which I did on 2//20. I was told my the customer service agent named Mariah I had to email my problem to *** attn: Mariah. attached to this email was a copy of my receipt showing my cash payment and a copy of the credit card per her request. I have since emailed and called several times asking for the return of $50.00 charge. I know for a fact there has to be a $50.00 overage showing on their credit card report for that night. So the last representative I spoke to was a Brittany S on March 5th I believe and nothing since. I still do not have the return of my $50.00 overcharge. So I actually paid $140.00 for $90.00 in merchandise. I have received zero cooperation with Madison Square Garden customer Service.
Thank you for proving this information. We have contacted our merchandise department who reviewed our credit card records. A refund was made to ***s gift card on 3/. If you have any additional questions, we may be reached at .

After getting cleared through security metal detector and bag check with my family I was rudely and unprofessionally stopped by a security person who yelled and physically got close to my face when I asked if I could leave my foldable scooter with security. His response was no and that I had to leave. Even though I cleared security and my fiance and our son nervously and anxiously we're watching close by waiting for me to come. I never got to go watch the show and missed out on memories with my family. I got disrespected, embarrassed and felt threatened, treated with the most unprofessional attitude. There were a some good staff and security that brought me to a different checkpoint just a few feet away from said one. I checked in my scooter. I wish that security officer that got in my face would have informed me about that option as he did not and said I could not enter and had to leave. I went to enter different check point only to get stopped and barred from entry at that check point over a sealed package of ramen noodles which was cleared and allowed in by security at the original checkpoint with unprofessional security encounter. Spoke to a supervisor who did not take my feelings about the poor encounter I had, just disregarded me and said my attitude wasn't right, I felt threatened about an unprofessional act of security that put made me upset & anxious, wasted mine and my familys time, tramautized my son who never got to enjoy the show with me because I was not let back in, lost money on the ticket that was scanned but went to waste due to my barred entry and felt a sadness so great because my son kept asking for me and worrying so he as well as my finance could not enjoy the show naturally. I ask that I please be refunded for the event, I also ask that this incident be investigated because no security should act in such a manner and the matter be rectified Swifty. This can't continue. I lost out on precious memories tonight and no amount of money can buy back our lost time and memories. Something needs to get done about this.
I accidentally ordered 9 tickets to a Knicks game on 1/*** when I intended to buy on 1/. I tried to cancel my order within minutes of realizing mistake and ordered replacement tickets but MSG refused to honor a refund. Tickets were purchased via Ticketmaster however Ticketmaster contacted Madison Square Garden repeatedly and I was told they could not help.
At this time, I have been contacted directly by Madison Square Garden regarding complaint ID, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They called me and told me they would contact senior management to see if a refund was possible. I never heard back after that

Purchased 2 concert tickets for Chris Rock December 8th,2017.
Waited on line for over 2 hours to get in.. Didn’t get to see the show. Never got my refund. When contacted the customer service MSG , advised me to contact *** to get my refund. *** stated after 2.5 months of investigation that MSG refused to refund .
I attended the 2:00 Christmas Spectacular on 11/. After about an hour, I got up to use the restroom. When I came back, The Rockettes were in the middle of a performance so I was standing by the door so I wouldn't interrupt the experience for any other guests. An usher asked me what I was doing and if I was in the right place. I said "yes", my seat is *** and I don't want to interrupt other guests by going to my seat in the middle of a performance. He then proceeded to DEMAND to see my ticket. I then had to find it. Then he talked about me to another usher and "what to look for in the future...". The entire he was talking relatively loudly and other guests were beginning to look at us. He was definitely interrupting the show for numerous people.I don't understand why he did this and why he choose to interrupt the show for so many people. It was extremely rude. I was so offended, I ended up leaving the performance.
Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Madison Square Garden regarding complaint ID.Sincerely
