Review: I had several windows in my home tinted on 5/27/15. The warranty states that Made in the Shade will redo the film if there are large objects that are noticeable or obtrusive of the view of the outside such as dirt particles... One of the window panes has a .5 cm contaminant in it. I called [redacted] at Made in the Shade to request replacement film on 6/1/15. I also texted her a picture of the problem area and [redacted] agreed the film would need replacement. She said it would take a couple of weeks to order the film. On 6/11/15 I called and scheduled the installation for 7/2/15 at 9am. On 7/2, I got a phone message from [redacted] at 8.41 stating the installer is at urgent care and can't do the installation. We reschedule to 7/6. On 7/6 no one arrived for the installation; I called and got their voicemail that the office was closed on 7/6 due to the Holiday. I called and left messaged 2 or 3 more times that week and did not get a response. I called again on 7/14 and an appointment was scheduled for 7/22 at 9am. At 11am on 7/22, no one had arrived. I called again and was told the appointment was for 7/23 - that [redacted] had made a mistake in the scheduling. She said someone could come by though on the afternoon of 7/22 which I agreed to. No one showed up on 7/22 so I assumed they would arrive at what [redacted] said was the scheduled time on 7/23. At 10am on 7/23 no one had arrived. I called and there was no answer so I left a message. Note that the quote for the service was done via Made in the Shade, but the final contract was done via a new company name of WTCExperts; both companies have the same address and phone number.Desired Settlement: I'd like the film replaced as agreed to and guaranteed in their contract.
Review: I had my windows tinted at this retailer back in June. The work was immediately needing correction, which they did. In retinting the window they damaged the defroster lines on my back window. I immediately informed them of this and asked them to correct. For 4 weeks now I have been getting the run around, delays, and excuses instead of getting this matter resolved. This company has thus far FAILED to fix this damaged window and also do a tint job worth my money.Desired Settlement: My expectation is what they promised they would do weeks ago. 1) Replace my damaged window. 2) tint the window.
If they cannot do this I expect a full refund for the tint job, and reimbursement for another new window.
