I am very happy
I just had a walk-in shower with glass block window installed and I am so Happy I had it done--James did a great job. It took 2 days and yesterday he was trimming outside under a tent in the windy rain. When I saw the finished job I was so happy it looked better than the pictures--Thank you James

High pressure sales promising on what they don't deliver
They used high-pressure sales tactics to sell me a shower that would never grow mold. After three weeks, lots of mold. To me, this is blatant false advertising.

Not returning deposit
We signed their contract 6/3/23, cancelled the contract on 6/5/23 after we found we can replace the entire kitchen for half what they wanted to charge us for refacing the cabinets. I have made at least 6 phone calls, we just want our $100.00 deposit back. When we cancelled the contract we were told the check will be mailed up within a few days. Does 56 days constitute a few days to Mad City Cabinets?

Shower Review
Due to multiple issues it took 2 months to complete my shower. The installers (4 in total over 5 visits) were wonderful. Totally understand issues do happen and I was given a slight decrease in the price of the project. HOWEVER I have tried contacting Mad City contacts without success. They have actually "blocked me" from emails and phone calls the LAST time I tried to follow up with them. All I wanted, and was promised, is for the "care / maintenance" information I was promised that would be sent in the mail to me; along with final project cost sheet.

Replacement of tube with walk-in shower
Salesman EB presentation similar to sales pitch for a timeshare. Starting price for product and installation high, "what price would you consider", "let me see what I can do", "this lower price only available now"...
Installers did a great job, finished job in one day as advertised.
Upon further review of product, the shower base installed did not match size (front to back) that was detailed with a dimension and shown by salesman. I did sign a job sheet that was provided by a person that reviews space available details for shower base. However, I was not informed that new size would be smaller, it was up to me to note a change. Mad City reps will tell you "Satisfaction Guaranteed", but beware, unless you read and double check all documents that you are signing you may end up with product issues that will not be resolved to your satisfaction. Mad City should assure you fully understand what you are told up-front is not necessarily what you get.

Shower instaltion
paid to have a walk in shower installed. I was promised by the sales person that they train and have experienced installers. The installers that installed my shower were awful. The installers were talking and I heard one of them ask the other, do you know how to caulk? He responded no and apparently neither of them knew how to caulk. Not sure how you get hired and pass the Mad City training without being able to caulk that's a pretty important skill to have when installing showers. Not one thing in the walk in shower was done correct in fact the walk in shower install needs to be completely redone. The surround was cut wrong on all sides and where they cut it wrong they tried to use caulk to cover up/hide the mistakes. The shower floor is sloped wrong and the shower has standing water in it.The surround has caulk all over it. My shower has a window and the surround was cut wrong and the installers left painters tape on the window surround saying someone would be back to finish the window because they ran out of caulk. The hole cut for the shower head was cut too big and there Is a visible gap around the showered. The glass doors that were installed are covered in caulk and the seal on the bottom of the glass doors came completely off. The shelves in the shower were left not caulked. There is caulk on the shower is walls, ceiling, the shower floor, my bathroom floor on and on the new shower-head. The installers left sharpie marker on my new surround as well as on my ceiling. They also left damage to my ceiling, floor trim and my bathroom walls. I called to complain and the next day they sent another installer out to see the damage. In his words he stated "this is the worst install I've ever seen" This installer was nice enough to put duct tape around my shower window so that I could use the shower. The way the original installers left the window the shower was unusable. For almost 2 weeks, my promises to be called back and keep me updated didn't happen. I finally filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, once I did that they lady I've been dealing with did a 360 her attitude and stated she had failed me and this work was unacceptable and she was sorry. Before I filed this complaint I felt she wasn't taking my complaints serious and I believe she was screening my phone calls. This job was promised to be completed in 48 hours which is what this company advertises. This is not true. I don't trust this company and especially not the lady that has been taking my complaints. I put down a $5000 downpayment and financed the rest which is $12,000. This job cost over $17,000. The install was so bad everything needs to be torn out and redone. The company's solutions are: to redo the install using a similar surround but not the same as what I originally picked out with the promise that there "best installer" would come on a Saturday and install a new shower and get it completed in one day. The second option was for them to order the same surround I originally picked out which could potentially take 3 months to be available. I ordered my surround in November of 2021 and waited til March for it to come in and now they want me to wait for another 3 months.Had they installed it correct the first time this wouldn't be an issue. I asked about the damage done to bathroom by the original installers and they stated they would have someone come fix that stuff. They want me to agree to one of their solutions with no price adjustment for the mess they made. What kind of customer service is this? This situation is a direct result of their professional installers. The plumbing they did which I was told was done by their "master plumber" was passed by the city building inspector but it was passed with "notes" The building Official noted concern "that the reduction in pipe size from 2" PVC to the 1 1/2 Cooper will create issues in the future and cause the shower drain to eventually slow." The Building Official stated that in the event that issues do arise in the future, the shower doesn't properly drain as designed, Mad City Windows and Bath LCC shall be liable to make the approved corrections. This company advertises that they use professional and experienced installers and plumbers and yet everything done in my home was done wrong. They also cut the plumbing hole in the basement ceiling for the new plumbing and left the mess in my basement. I have no confidence in this company and believe they are dishonest about the services they provide. I requested that since the shower they installed had to be torn completely out and redone that they refund me the $5000 deposit so I can have someone who knows what they are doing and can be trusted to come and install my shower. They will not even discuss a price adjustment only saying once the new shower is installed then they will evaluate a price adjustment. I do not trust them, my belief is that they will redo the shower and then the damage to my bathroom will never be fixed. I've read review after review about this company making promises and not following through. Phone calls being ignored for months and not being able to get in touch with anyone. I've experienced these same issues since the installation of my shower. They did offer to come and fix the plumbing issues stating "they wanted to be proactive rather than reactive" Had I not requested the building inspection done I would have trusted that they did my plumbing correctly with no worries of my shower possibly having draining issues in the future. I let the lady know that her company wasn't coming back to my home to redo the plumbing until we reached some kind of agreement. This company is the worst and I would not recommend anyone to ever use them. I wish I'd done more due diligence before hiring them. The prices they are charging people and the shoddy work that I received is unacceptable.

Shower install
The very best job I have ever had done. From the bid to the follow up. The installer covered the scope of work before he started and showed use the extra work he had to do.
Kept the area and the house as clean as possible. Show my wife the finished job and how to keep it clean so it will last. Was neat. clean and very polite.

Overpriced and harassment
I paid for a bathroom remodel and they really only focused on installing their tub unit, I still had to take care of the floor and other aspects of the remodel myself. The cost of this unit was ridiculously overpriced for what I paid, and it's not aging that well. Now they keep calling me to sell me more products and I have told them to stop calling but they continue and don't take no for an answer this is harassment at this point.

+1

Great company to deal with. They installed my patio door and I couldn’t be happier. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will use them again for my next project.

Very professional, courteous and easy to work with. Our salesman and install team were awesome, especially through all of the new covid precautions!

We love our new Mad City shower and wish we would have junked our old tub/shower years ago. The planners worked with us when we had to adjust our installation date, the install team went above and beyond on the trim work and we got a quick response when we had to have the shower doors slightly adjusted. We are completely satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mad City to others.

Mad City Windows replaced our patio door and we couldn't be happier. The quality is great, the installers were respectful of our home & pets.

Very professional company

Highly recommended. Very professional, good work. Maybe a little more expensive than the others but sometimes it is better to pay a little more and to be happy with the service. Good finance option too.

We had a new tub surround and walk in shower installed in March of this year. From the initial sales meeting to finish of the project Mad City Bath has excellent service, communication, and a beautiful finished project. Ron and Phil made a great team and even though they ran into unforeseen complications in our plumbing in one of our bathrooms they kept at it until it was right. Our contract price never changed. Prompt, professional, highly skilled and very respectful of our property. We love our new bathtub and shower! I would highly recommend this company.

We are very satisfied with the customer service as well as installation we received from Mad City.

We were sold immediately from the initial consultation. Our sales rep provided great customer service and explained everything and answered any questions we had.

The installation of the windows was great too. There were only two installers and they installed a whole house full of windows in one day. They were courteous and hard workers. They walked us through how to operate and care for the windows.

We are highly satisfied and would recommend Mad City to anyone looking for new windows!
