Macadam has been out to Mr [redacted] 's home several times with the builder to try and help with this noise issue We have brought out two separate inspectors to try and help with a solution, and both have said there's to much deflection in the subfloor To much deflection (movement) in the subfloor is the #cause of squeaking/crackling in hardwood floors We have passed this info along to the builder & home ownerWe have a meeting onsite in Mr [redacted] 's home this Thursday the 1st @ 1:00pm, the builder and framer will be meeting us also so we can hopefully all work on a solution that takes care of the home owner

I am rejecting this response because:To be clear, Macadam Floors is working on a solution. I appreciate what has occurred so far, but the issue has not been resolved.There should be another response option other than accept or reject. Most issues will require more than 7 days to resolve. You should implement an "in progress of resolution" disposition.
