MAC Garage Door Service

Review: Contracted with company to provide garage door repair- replacing springs on 2 double garage doors. Exchanged pics and specs of springs to be replaced and told Shalom (owner) the doors were heavy and needed good springs. They replaced my oil tempered, 48" springs with crappy galvanized 24" springs that do not hold up door and are ruining motor. The springs are unsafe as they will definitely break and also they are supposed to hold door open at 2 or 3 feet off ground and my door slams shut. Owner acknowledged this is how to test if springs are OK and will not replace them with the right size oil tempered springs. I spoke with 2 other garage door repair shops and both said the cheap galvanized springs I received are not appropriate for the heavy solid wood doors I have. The company is called MAC but the person servicing the doors was from GSM which has a crappy reputation and many bad reviews. They played a shell game- fake reviews for a shell company and GSM then does poor job of performing the service.Desired Settlement: I want the business to replace the bad springs on both doors with the appropriate quality oil tempered springs- which I paid for.
