Upon meeting Mike S I was under the impression we were having a friendly meeting NOT a billed accounting lesson. It was far from. I was in Mike S's office 1015am to 130pm pst(he texted me at 137pm as I was driving home), not 10am-2pm pst Feb 6th/2020. We have mutual friends and all the 'meeting' was, was gossip, ***. I was never told of any hourly billing, never saw his rates, never heard of any financial requirements. ONLY that he'd beat my old accountants rates guaranteed. He told me how much I can buy more drugs for though. He asked I rent quick books from him for $40 a month I declined. He asked for a retainer *** I left with e-transferring him $500 as a retainer for the future work. Mike S also went into lengthy conversations about my previous accountant, in fact he told me he was escorted out of a Accounting/Lawyer Event for getting into an altercation. I had to be home for 2pm in West Kelowna feb 6th ***. ***...On sunday feb 16th I let him know *** and the fact that he needed this ASAP wasn't realistic. I said out of the "$500 RETAINER" what do you see happening with that as I will use you for 2020 and use my old acct for 2019 since this needs to be done so soon and my old accountant is familiar with how I've book kept in the past. He asked "What do you want to pay?" in text. I request full refund.
