M & M Roofing

I had a very disappointing and frankly unsettling experience with M&M Home Remodeling Services. Last summer, shortly after purchasing my home, I contacted them to repair or replace a few small sections of vinyl siding that had come loose. I got four quotes from reputable local companies. M&M was the second to arrive, and by far the most extreme in their approach.

What followed was a high-pressure inspection where they picked apart nearly every aspect of my siding, claiming shoddy workmanship—except for the areas I had specifically asked about, like the siding around my windows, which they conveniently said looked fine. The whole visit felt incredibly intimidating and performative.

Then came the scare tactics: they told me that unless I replaced both the siding (and the roof!), my house “wouldn’t survive the winter.” They conveniently offered me 0% financing for the job. It was a textbook fear-based sales pitch—manipulative and predatory.

Not sixty seconds after they left, another siding company came to provide a quote. They assured me the issues M&M identified were either exaggerated or completely fabricated. Without me prompting, they even warned me that M&M was notorious for using this kind of approach. I went with a different, more trustworthy company with a service area spanning three counties—they fixed the issue quickly, affordably, and professionally. It’s now spring, and (shocker) my house is completely fine.

M&M’s lack of professionalism and reliance on scare tactics is deeply concerning. I left the interaction wondering what would’ve happened if I’d been a senior, or someone less familiar with home repairs. I have zero doubt they pull this same move on vulnerable homeowners. Their behavior was unprofessional, immature, and completely unbecoming of a company operating at this scale.

If anyone from management happens to read this, I highly recommend shadowing your Portage, Indiana crew. You may not like what you see.

I would like to state that anytime they had an issue with the trailer they would bring it by no matter how small or large the issue was we always fixed itWe wanted to take care of any issues they had or may have caused themselves thats just the customer service we provideThe driver was never properly trained in how the trailer needs maintenance so therefore they were always complaining on why the trailer has issues and then blaming usI think they just have a small buyers remorse and want to just return the trailer and purchase a new and bigger trailer

Runners Transportation LLC, has a one of our Car haulers and was very pleased with it when he bought it*** *** has had a couple of minor issues with the trailer and when he called and wanted it fixed we jumped on it right awayI believe that the driver of this trailer is not maintaining
the proper maintenance for this trailer therefore they keep having issues and then blaming Texas Pride for the issue*** wants to return the trailer and purchase a new car hauler from us if we were such a bad company then why would he want to purchase another trailer from usWe stand behind our product 100% but when the customer or customers driver keeps failing to take care of his or her trailer there is only so much Texas Pride can doWe offered to fix the trailer for them once again but they declined

I am rejecting this response because: my driver visited Texas pride times for the same issuesTop deck hydraulic lift cylinder leaks, battery keeps dying even after they installed a solar panelAxle leak, electrical issues, welding is cracking on heavy floor mess that we paid extra for, not to mention rustThis trailer has been having problem from the very 1st day before it left Texas PrideThe repair they are doing is not lasting a dayThis can cause my driver to be put out of service by dot with level or inspection, which can affect my CR scoreI can’t send my driver back to get the same thing Fixed over and over again.
