M A Meyer

I went to M A Meyer to have my vacuum cleaner repaired as the brush was no longer turning. I was informed that more then likely would cost between 20 and 30 dollars but that I would be called if it was going to be more then 50 dollars. When I returned to pick up the vacuum, I was informed that it cost 49.95 after the 10 dollar deposit was subtracted from the total. They never called to inform me that the cost to repair the vacuum was going to be over 50 dollars. In addition, they did repairs that I did not authorize. When I brought in the vacuum I told them the brush was not spinning and it needed to be repaired. They stated upon pick up that they repaired the brush, replaced the air filter, and did a tune up on the vacuum. Replacement of the air filter as well as the tune up were not authorized nor discussed when I dropped off the vacuum. The vacuum is still loud as if it was never repaired.
