The contractor did not finish the jobthe original contract was amended to include trim and other items that were added to the jobWe have photos of the uncompleted work and the property manager did speak with him and has email and phone conversations to back that up.We have paid for the work that was completed and have only withheld what it has taken to complete the work with another contractorManager left several messages with him and we cut a check to him for the balance owedWe even offered for him to pick it up in our office.We operated in good faithWe offered him time to complete and asked that he do soHe never made it backWe have a check for an amount that was left over that we had agreed to pay him but it has not been picked upIt can be mailed out if that is preferred
This contractor failed to perform the duties of the contract in a timely manner and did not complete the job, as agreed upon. the work was to be completed in a few days and had not been done in more than two weeks when we requested that it be completed.Wall paint was painted over switch cover...
plates and work was not completed and had to be completed and touched up to bring job up to the standard required for the building Left parts of the job uncompleted and did not clean up after the job was completed. The property manager reached an agreed upon settlement of the contract verbally with [redacted] to complete the job because he would not or could not complete the job in a timely manner.

I am rejecting this response because: As you can see in the original quote that I have attached the trim was black and the walls were not gray. I have attached pictures showing that the trim and walls were done per the contract. Again, I did not speak with the manager about a settlement again until after they responded to this complaint stating that I had so it is a lie and I can prove it with correspondence. I wrote them and stated that I will accept the "partial" payment for the final invoice but am not accepting it as final payment. As usual they have not responded directly to the email. I have talked with the tenants in the building as well and they agreed that another contractor came behind us and damaged our work and has done a horrible job and I think Lynx is trying to hold us responsible for that which we refuse. I am not the only one who feels this is a very unprofessional company, just do a search of lynx property services and look at their horrible rating. Also, I have attached the change order invoice showing it was just for the trim color change and not additional items which is yet another lie.
