As a recent college graduate with a background in marketing/pr, I was amazed to see a position listed as "Entry Level Marketing"However, upon submitting my application, Lynx almost immediately replied having me set up an interview THE NEXT DAYI should have been way of the organization at this point, but decided to attend the interview anywayI was asked to show up in business professional attire, which should be obvious, and the email also mentioned that "WE ARE NOT LIKE THE OTHER GUYS, WE DO NOT DO COLD CALLING OR DOOR TO DOOR SALES" or something of that natureI showed up to the office, which was really just a desk and a few rooms inside of another business suite within a business development with numerous other offices and servicesThere was no signage, and I only saw two employees the entire timeMy interview only lasted 5-minutes, and was told that I was eligible for the next round of interviews, sitting down with an account executive and another staffing employeeAfter leaving the "office", the staffing employee who interviewed me got in her car and left, leaving one employee all alone insideLuckily I stayed long enough in the parking lot to catch this, and started to feel even more suspiciousThe website is very vague about what they do day-to-day, and through more research and questions during the interview I discovered that this company is one of those "fast track to management"-type of positions, and saw numerous positions listed for the organization on [redacted] and [redacted] , for locations near me but the offices are located in [redacted] **Along with this, I was receiving automated emails AND text messages which spelled my name wrong, and asked me to confirm my interview after I already hadOverall, the "company" feels sketchy to say the least, and seems to want to take advantage of ambitious young graduates who are looking for employmentThis company should really be looked into, and I sure am glad that I caught the sketchiness before I gave them any of my time and wasted my expertise on a company that wants to mislead young professionals
