Review: I went to Lynchburg Dental back a year ago to have my teeth cleaned and evaluation. They put my original Crown from [redacted] temporary bridge in for me at the time. It had fallen out after 7 years. I have had two temporary bridges in my front teeth for 13 years now. One temporary Bridge stayed in my mouth 6 years and the other temporary bridge stayed in my mouth 7 without coming loose. I had one Bridge done in [redacted] and then the other done in [redacted] in 2008 when I resided there. It costs several thousand dollars for porcelain crowns . I do not have the money or insurance to cover this right now. So I had Lynchburg Dental install another temporary crown last fall. $ 600 dollars I paid cash , Three months later the crown fell out I went back on Christmas week and they put it back in with cement . ( they mixed the paste / cement wrong , TWICE) After the second time less than one month later I was eating my dinner and next thing I knew I was chewing on my teeth and they broke in my mouth. I went back into their office with a 50 dollar bill they have been sending me for reinstalling my teeth. I explained I was not happy . The Lady at the front desk was rude at best . She told me it was not their problem that the tooth fell out . They cannot have used the correct mix paste / cement . How come a Dentist in ** and [redacted] temporary teeth stayed in my mouth 5 + years ? The teeth were a little discolored but they stayed in place . This lady at the front desk basically was telling me get lost and made a point of throwing the fifty dollar bill they sent me in the post right up on the counter in my face. Pay us the money is what she was saying we want our fifty dollars Sir. Now I have a letter here dated May 5 th 2016 from a [redacted] representing Lynchburg Dental . He is basically threatening me and my credit to the credit rating if I do not pay up the 50 dollars. This is worst than any bill collector I have ever met. Some of their staff are rude and arrogant to say the least. Dr [redacted] is a nice man he has always been courteous to me. I have my broken teeth stuck in with super glue right now. I am not happy first off that the teeth came out so quickly ??? again and again . Now the way these people are treating me. I intent to post this rude and threatening letter written to me by [redacted] online if this nonsense continues. I have run a small construction business all my life if I treated customers like that I would be finished very quickly. I am disappointed and really do not what to do. I know I am right to complain about this shoddy treatment. Those teeth should not have fallen out in three months and then 3 weeks later . There must be other disgruntled customers . Unsatisfied Customer [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my Temporary broken teeth replaced . They should NOT have fallen out like this not once but twice. I will go somewhere else if they refund me my money or reinstall a new temporary crown.

We at Lynchburg Dental Center pride ourselves in providing the highest quality of dental care with a knowledgeable and caring staff. We informed and explained to the patient that a temporary bridge is not a permanent fix. It is only temporary. The materials are not designed to function long term. The patient was informed of this information several times. Due to the patients concern of the fees for a permanent bridge, the treating dentist offered to apply the $600 fee for the temporary towards the cost of the permanent as a courtesy. We will contact the patient to settle the account, in hopes he will follow through with recommended treatment for his dental health.
