a shipping fee required by a free gift offer for a walgreens customer service survey of my local walgreen turns into a monthly membership program.
I took a Walgreen's online survey for my local Walgreen's store, after completing the survey I was asked to pick a free gift. To get the free gift I had to pay a small shipping charge($5.99), which required a credit card (01/06/2019).Received the free product, not worth the shipping charge, but paid the $5.99 shipping on my credit card. This should have been the end of transaction, but it was not. On 01/21/2019 a charge was made to my credit card of $94.88. Not knowing what the charge was, I called the card company and they told me it was from the modernluxuryskincreamoxnardca commpany for a product or something. I received no product nor did I order any type of product. The card company put the $94.88 in a disputed file charge. The card company was able to retract the $94.88 and balance once again at $0.00 (01/30/2019). Both the card company and myself considered the matter closed. On 02/20/2019 another charge was made to my account ($94.88) same company. I phoned the card company (02/22/2019) and again they put this file in a disputed folder and said they would look into again. That is where where are are as of today (02/22/2019). I have come to the assumption this must be a membership fee of some sort of which I did not request nor sign for. If I have to I will close my account if I am able to, but I'd prefer it be be at $0.00 if possible.
