Review: I started to get treatment for my braces. My out of pocket expenses was somewhere around $1,500. Included in that expense was the cost for my retainers. I paid the entire $1,500 in full.I moved out of state and my treatment was not complete. I still had the braces on my teeth. During this time Dr. [redacted] continues to receive payments from my health insurance company. I called the orthodontists and asked them for a refund for my retainers. Since I never received retainers from them (I had started treatment with another orthodontists). They promptly sent me a check. Six months later I get a bill from [redacted] saying that they were pulling back all the money from Dr. [redacted] for the months I did not receive treatment with them. (which is fair) but Dr. [redacted] said he sent $477 of that to me. That $477 was never money they received from [redacted]. It was money out of my out of pocket expense. They never supplied me with a retainer. I called and they basically said they werent going to give me my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like my $477 refunded to me. They said that is how much it was for my retainer. A retainer I never received from them. [redacted] does not pay for retainers. I paid my contract in full. I expect them keep up their end of the deal.
