Luke's Apartment Movers

I use this company back in March to move to a new house, during the moving process an item was taken and I have called the company a few times to get compensation and no one has contacted me back.

I purchased a groupon for these movers, they were advertised with a name of "Virginia Movers" When googled I could not find information (website, reviews, etc) with that name. I contacted them via phone and the representative said they actually will service me with their "sister company" called Lukes Apartment Movers. I completed the purchase with them. On move-in day they moved my belongings from my storage unit to my apartment and after they left and I started unpacking I realized the LED of my TV was shattered. They conveniently placed the TV with the screen facing the wall and as soon as I turned the TV around I could see the crack in the LED. Once plugged in, you instantly see the LED is spider-webbed and shattered. I contacted Lukes Apartment movers immediately (this was maybe 2 hours after the movers left) and let them know the TV was damaged. Their rep told me to email her the pictures and that the boss would deal with it. I did that immediately and did not get a response. Following day I sent a follow-up email asking to confirm they received my pictures, she confirmed she received them. After that, I never got a response back. I have sent 7 emails, 2 voicemails, and nothing. It has now been 14 days since the incident happened.

Specifically, I remember the movers transporting my 50-inch flat screen tv on a DOLLY, (not covered or wrapped) pushing with one hand and holding a dining room chair in the other hand. They also did not wrap or cover it while putting it in the truck. This TV does NOT weigh much and is obviously fragile, it should have been carried with care.

The are advertising a service under a false name - Virginia Movers, when in reality their name is Lukes apartment movers.

I used Luke's Apartment Movers for my relocation and everything was easy and smooth. The movers were skilled reliable and honest. Everyone showed up on time 730am and start working with not a single waste move. Thank you again

The movers damaged my dresser in the move. He called the office. He was instructed to take pictures of the damages and submit them to the office he did. I also pointed out several areas that he did not photograph. He was very apologetic. I told him that I would not sign off on the paperwork until I was compensated for the damages that took place in the move.

DO NOT use this company. They are extremely unprofessional!! Paula in specific. I waited for 2 and half hours for my movers to arrive. I was scheduled at 12pm they called at 11:40am saying they were behind on the current move and would be to me by 1. No problem. They finally show at 2:33pm, after I called twice they claimed to have gotten lost. I spoke to Paula & she showed no concern. After explaining the wait time and misquoted eta her response was ok and what do you need from me. Absolutely no customer service!!! And after asking what her title was she claimed to not know, but per the the movers she is the manager. This was my first time using movers and an absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Do not waste your money and time!!!!!!!

This company is bull crap. My daughter hired them the morning of they called with running late issues. Then 15 minutes later call to say they were involved in an accident. DO NOT USE.
