Lucky Lawn

The [redacted] of this company is verbally abusive and rude. In a neighborhood of many senior citizens, he bullies them into a service agreement, which is full of overcharges. My parents paid this man $900 in a 3 month period to mow, clean, edge, trim and throw down some fertilizer, insect prevention and weed prevention. The yard is a garden home yard, which on a bad day takes 30 minutes to mow, front and back. Without any notification he did all of the extra services, and then charged $65 for each service over and above the mow and blow rate. For whatever reason, he decided, without asking, to fertilize in April, May and June. My parents didn't know until they received their bill. When approached by me about it, he was rude and argumentative from the very start of the conversation and tried to bully me as well. The next day, my husband called him and tried to talk man to man-again he met with a beligerent attitude from the [redacted]. My husband cancelled the service and the [redacted], [redacted], hung up on him. Once we told my parents he had been fired, they came out with the stories of how this man had been bullying them and how afraid they were of him. Then they told of other neighbors who had had the same experience with him. Two months ago, the next door neighbor, who was a police officer, while moving out, cautioned my father about [redacted], calling him a "crook", and asking my dad to be careful. Through some digging, I found that he has a civil case pending against him for non payment of wages. This is a very nasty man, and very dangerous-especially for the elderly.
