I have been providing high quality lawn service for over 20 years and have seldom had complaints. Mrs. [redacted] has been a customer for just four...
months and in that short period of time she has complained several times. I pride my business in the quality of our work and attempt to address complaints professionally and in a timely manner. For example, we pride ourselves in providing a consistent and reliable service by maintaining a weekly mowing schedule the customer can rely upon. To provide this level of reliability, if a customer doesn't want service in a particular week, we ask they call and give us prior notice. If we do not hear differently we provide the service as previously agreed to. In regards to the issue of Mrs. [redacted]'s boundary line, it was one of the first few times we cut the lawn and we did miss the line by less than a foot. Upon receiving a phone call from Mrs. [redacted] I communicated the correct dimensions to my employees and promptly went back to service the additional boundary line. On another instance I received a phone call from Mrs. [redacted] saying that we did not edge when in fact my employee was in the process of returning the mower to the truck and retrieving the weed eater to complete the service. As for the landscaping issue, I did not have the opportunity to address the issue as I have never received a phone call. If I had we would have attempted to resolve the issue to Mrs. [redacted]'s satisfaction!In closing, my reputation is VERY important to me as it is the one thing that differentiates my business from others in the industry. I try very hard to provide a high quality service to our customers. In the case that we do make a mistake, I attempt to resolve the issue in a timely and professional manner. Although I do believe Mrs. [redacted] owes for the final service, as a courtesy, I am willing to forgive the final charge to put this matter behind us.
