The final invoice will be completed today and will be sent out tomorrow to the client. It will contain a complete breakdown of all services rendered. If there is a refund of retainer that is due - that refund request will be submitted to accounting and should be processed shortly. I apologize for the confusion.

I received an email from Lucidata, informing me that I will not be receiving a refund check. That was a lie. I was also informed that I should have been billed around 20K for their work. I feel nauseated at ever having called this company and will never ever recommend them to anyone, friend or foe. I feel I was misled but I also know there is nothing I can do about it. I am utterly sick of the whole thing. Close it if you like but their accountant made it clear they were doing me a favor by only charging me the 3800+ dollars for their services. I feel sorry for anyone calling this company for service.

I don't even know how to respond to this tirade. She signed a contract with her and the rates listed. It is not our fault that the drive had 35 GB that needed to be searched, nor it is our fault that 2 searches were requested.
Our position is not changing.
