Lt Transmission Exchange

I had a horrible experience. I dropped off my 2010 Ford F150 in July of 2019 for a rebuild transmission. I was told it would take him a week which turned into 3 weeks. The truck was delivered to the house and shut down after a 10 min drive from my house because they failed to put tranmission fluid in. Then they took it back and it took them another 2 weeks. They didn't reimburse me for the fees as stated. A year later my tranmission is down again. I had to take it in to another mechanic and some of the parts were never even changed. They don't returned phone calls. I am out another 2,000.00 dollars becuase the job wasn't done right.

I went in for repair of *** He quoted a 1 week turn time and $800 dollar deposit with a $1000 balance due upon completion. It took about a month the first time but came with a 1 year warranty or 120,000 miles. It ended up only working for 4 months. When returned for repair again, the shop had the car for 4 more months. He said it was the computer not the transmission and we wired him $400.00 for a new computer. When that was not the issue, he finally admitted it was the transmission. Once repair was completed, the transmission only lasted 4 days. The warranty is up on 6/15/2020 but I have not been able to drive the car for more than 4 months and 4 days within the last year. The total cost was $2200.00 but the transmission never worked right. The owner never answers his phone and he has called himself *** and *** so I am not sure what his real name is. He has 3 different phone numbers *** (shop), *** (cell) and *** (cell-he recently answered this one). He called us while the car was being worked on to ask us for $5000.00 to invest in some transmissions with his shop. This is after he had my car for a 2nd time for over 3 months!
