Review: I seen L&R Paralegal Services located in Shreveport, Louisiana under "legal services" on Craigslist. I contacted the company on Oct 10, 2015 to help me with a child support modification case. A paralegal named [redacted] filed out a modification and fee waiver form for me through email. I mailed the forms to the court as instructed by [redacted] via certified on Oct 19, 2015. He stated the court will mail me out a court date. Well, that never happened. On Nov 30, 2015, I contacted [redacted] by phone and email asking him why haven't I received a court date yet. He stated the court was behind because of the holidays. And, I should call them. I called the court and asked why haven't I received a court date yet. The court stated that the modification and fee waver forms were incorrectly filled out. Therefore, The judge will not sign incorrect forms. And, they were destroyed. The court told me how to correctly fill out the forms. I paid [redacted] $225.00 and, he doesn't know how to correctly fill out a child support modification and fee waver form. L&R Paralegal Services gave me false information and they are unreliable. When I researched the company's name, I found them located in Vinton, VA. They were advertised as located in Shreveport, Louisiana. The company is no longer posted as located in Shreveport, Louisiana.Desired Settlement: I want my $225.00 back that I paid to [redacted] ( L&R Paralegal Services).
