BEWARE LPZ Granite & Countertops of Dallas, TX installed granite countertops in my kitchen on February 2020 where the fabrication and installation was rejected by me because of tremendous poor quality of installation and fabrication. 1) Opening for existing Cooktop was cut in my front yard with chisel and hammer to large causing the cooktop to fall through opening. 2) Edges were not machined for half bullnose as specified. Gilberto *** sold me in the beginning that he would create countertop templates and then fabricate countertops. He did not create templates which would have avoided poor installation. 3) Jointing of pieces were not located as specified. 4) Overhangs of all four pieces are not the same as specified. For example, on one end the overhang measures 1-1/2 inch and at the other end the overhang measures 5/8 inches. This poor installation is shown throughout, come see for yourself. I tried repeatedly to get Gilberto Lopez with LPZ Granite repeatedly refuses to value my opinion and make corrections, fail to communicate with me. BEWARE of LPZ Granite & Countertops of Dallas, TX

Replacement Replacement of Center and Sink Granite Countertops to be fabricated with half bullnose and at joints we agreed upon and for overhangs to be equal. Do not cut cooktop in front yard using chisel and hammer but fabricate in shop.
This is LPZ Granite & Countertops, regarding the complaint of Mr., we agreed on a $250 dollars off the total price for all the problems caused actual price was 3,200, we did specify on the joints went to remeasure everything and told his wife there will be a joint on top of the sink and she agreed, after that all the walls where move 1/4 inch to the back which the backsplash will be Installed which move the overhang. Kitchen was well install, we did not cut the cooktop with a hammer we open a space to put our hands inside to pull out the cut piece, left the cooktop in place. I really want to get to an agreement, I can replace the island with the same material, or give a $200 refund please let me know how I can help, Thank you.
