Can you add to the copmplaint, I was in an terrible motorcycle accident on july 29th that put me in the hospital for weeks and in bed for months
I suffered fractured ribs, fractured wrist, fractured foot, collapsed lungs and a cracked liverI couldnt use the gym even if I wanted tooI called and cancelled my membership when *** *** quitI never even used your servicesI will not and should not have to pay for something I didnt use nor could even useNor will I pay

That business should be Crunch Fitness in Rocklin california, Not granite bayI clicked the rocklin california oneNo idea how it got to granite bay

1. The member states he called and canceled his membership by phone.  Crunch Fitness has never canceled by phone and it clearly states in his membership agreement our cancellation policy. The member could have either cancel in club by filling out and signing our cancellation form or one can always send a signed letter of cancellation. There is no contract that needs to be signed to end a membership with Crunch. 2. All member calls that come in concerning cancellation are specifically informed on how to cancel and notes are made in their file. There are no entries in his file noting he called. In addition, the notes we have in his file indicate a call to Mr. [redacted] on 7/16/16, 8/14/16 and 11/12/16 leaving a message to contact the club. There was no response. On 9/12/2016 he was contacted by our collection company. 3. Mr. [redacted] stated he told [redacted] that he wanted to cancel. [redacted] was a trainer and not a front desk representative trained in the cancellation procedure nor did he have the authority to cancel a member. Never the less, Mr. [redacted] would still have needed to cancel either by signing our cancellation form at the front desk or send a signed letter of cancellation.  However, each individual case is look at and evaluated base on the situation and circumstances. Therefore, after reading Mr. [redacted] complaint Crunch Fitness will waive the amount past due and alert the collections department.
