Lowe's Extended Appliance Warranty

Purchased a new SAMSUNG refrigerator June, 2019, and bought the 5 year protection plan.
As of this review, this refrigerator has been repaired 5 times for ice maker issues.
My contract says that if it is repaired three times, and a fourth repair is determined "BY US", meaning Lowes, that a full refund of original purchase price will be issued. Each time I call, they claim that only two service calls have been issued, and have even said that if there had been more, then I INITIATED the service call on my own.
Buyers beware of purchasing appliance from LOWES, and if you do, do some research on what you're buying to seer what issues they have.
The refrigerator style we purchased has a class action lawsuit in the works since 2017, with no resolution
NOW, I called today, only to find out that LOWES has handed over their protection plan to ASSURANCE, and they can't get into my account to find the history, so now we have to endure yet another repair, in order for them and LOWES to dodge the responsibility bullet.
AGAIN, I SAY do your homework and if you purchase the LOWES PROTECTION PLAN, BEWARE AND BE READY TO JUMP THROUGH THEIR HOOPS

My Maytag washer purchased in 2018 stopped working on Nov. 18, 2020, due to a malfunctioning lid lock. I had purchased their 5 year extended warranty. The part has been on back order since then and as of Jan. 22, 2021, I am still without a washer. Lowes refuses to refund or replace the washer and insists I have to wait until the part is available.
