Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Wizard World's response was to offer a credit for a 50% discount for a ticket to a future event OR a full refund of my ticket price provided I return ALL items I got at the Philadelphia conventionMy response to them was as follows:"A credit toward a future event wouldn't resolve anything for me, because I doubt I would get the chance to use itJust because you hold conventions in Des Moines or Minneapolis, or even Chicago, does not mean I would want to attend oneYour guest lists that I've seen for these locations are not of the same caliber as what you had in PhiladelphiaMrH***, MrH***, and MrE*** were my reasons for attendingSo unless they came to an event in one of these cities and I had some reason to expect that what happened in Philly wouldn't happen the second time around, I would not go to another Wizard World event. As for returning EVERYTHING I got at the convention, I'm not willing to do that because in addition to the ticket price it cost me almost $2,for airfare and hotelWhile I realize that money did not go to Wizard World, it would be like throwing all that money out the window and having absolutely nothing for it, just to get a third of what I spent on this trip backDo you honestly think that sounds like a fair deal? I want something for the money spent, even if it wasn't what I should have receivedIt's because of the fact that in spite of what a disappointing experience it was, I did get autographs and the (horrible) photo op, that I only requested a partial refund, not a full one, and I don't think that is unfair."Wizard World then claimed that they could only issue full refunds, not partial ones, and reiterated that everything would have to be returned to do soI will not agree to this for the reasons I stated above and I don't see why a partial refund could not be arranged

We are happy to work with our attendee to reach a fair compromise? However, the VIP package consisted of multiple days admission, comics, photos, and autographs? We provided the option to receive a discount of up to 50% off any future admission package, or to return the tangible items received (the autographs, photo ops, and comic) for a full refund
